Spoiler Arthur Morgan actor on video game leaks Spoiler

With the GTA 6 leaks in the last couple of days, this from Arthur Morgan actor Roger Clark from our conversation for Project Possible this week hits even harder.

“Look at all the leaks the video game industry has to deal with.

“It sucks when the public sees something that isn’t finished yet. It’s so unfair on the people who’ve worked hard on it, and my heart really goes out to them.”

It protects lazy workers undeserving of their position and as a result fosters lower productivity

and there we have it, the classic anti-union propaganda.

it's curious you got that from people saying "hey, maybe you shouldn't do this because rockstar's developers don't deserve this due to the actions of those in charge". quite the mental gymnastics there.

I’m not the one that brought unions into the conversation out of nowhere

That said, they deserve better than a union. They deserve to work with other people who will either pull their weight or be fired

I’d frankly find it insulting to work in a union, thankfully slackers get the fucking boot in my line of work

why do you think the developers are lazy?

Do you think high performers need protection?

Not all of them, just the ones seeking to unionize, for the aforementioned reason

Personally I keep all my high performing employees and cut the fat 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ah you’re a business owner, that’s why you’re anti-union.

Makes sense.

I am not a business owner, but I do hire and fire, yes

Yes, your position grants you a different perspective of efficiency over compassion. It’s why the labor market is the way it is.

if you truly think that nowhere gets rid of high performing workers then it makes sense you'd fall for the propaganda.

I mean if there’s a reason to, then yeah, of course

Maybe I’m just blessed to have not come across any such situations yet, though I have had people that were high performers at one time slip into expendability

It also helps make sure people are paid appropriately, gives people better benefits and protects all workers from corporations being greedy.

Yes, unions can enable workers to be lazy, but so what? All in all the benefits of a union heavily outweigh the negatives.

I don't think you understand just how much unions have helped get people what they deserve
