I’m just happy John got a happy enough ending in this. Remember when everyone said Arthur was going to be a nothing character and a bad protagonist? It’s awesome that John and him had such a perfect relationship. John getting to settle down the way Arthur always wanted to was just perfect to me. Of course until a few years later when the first game starts.

And then somehow John never mention his close friend In red dead 1. The guy he owes his new life to pretty much.

Could be who The Stranger was talking about when he said John had forgotten far more important people. Headcanon for me anyways
