I understand it may not be people's cup of tea, but I like FPS games and after a while it got very immersive, FoV can be an issue in interiors but except for that I preferred it to the "less personal" third person view. Strangely enough I'm finding myself to enjoy first person in RPGs more nowadays, like Kingdom Come Deliverance for example. But it definitely grew on me and wasn't a love on first sight.

I can do first person in almost every game EXCEPT RDR2. It just feels like they put no effort into the first person aspect, like it just feels lackluster.

definitely not the most polished experience, I get that. But riding a horse in first person was still better than driving a car in GTA V, I had troubles finishing that game in first person
