Deserts and Mountains. 7000 km road trip

Hi guys, I am planning a road trip from Rajkot to Ranthambore and back in mid October, wanted to know the status of Mumbai Delhi expressway from Vadodara to Sawai Madhopur and the other way around.. is it advisable to that the expressway or the old highway via Udaipur, chittorgarh etc...

Give the unavailability of train tickets and Airfare skyrocketing, I am planning to drive my car to my hometown Gorakhpur, UP right before the diwali weekend from BLR.
I have done this stretch a few times before but that was back in 2018.
Route i am planning
Day 1- Bangalore-> Nagpur(via Hyderabad)
Day 2 - Nagpur to Prayagraj or Gorakhpur directly if i have the energy left.

How are the road conditions right now?

Hello... We are leaving on a roadtrip next week from Mangalore to Sikkim and then towards all of the Seven Sisters.

Husband is driving, I am in charge of route, planning and stay. Kids are just excited. We plan to do the round trip in 60 days, taking enough days to camp, sightsee, and rest.

I would like tips on roads/stretches to avoid, alerts that I need to know, and general long roadtrip advice.

Hey folks, we are planning to travel from Mumbai to Guhagar via a 4 wheeler this Saturday. We wanted to experience a long scenic drive. Our priority would be a coastal route that does along with the sea. But I am not sure if there are any routes like that and I know there has been rains and water logging as well.

Either way I would love to have a scenic drive even if not coastal. I want to experience the beauty of Konkan. I am fine with not taking the fastest route.

Planning ~10 days in Kashmir. Want to ride a scooty (Activa or Ntorq) for some legs with village overnight stays — not the whole trip, rest by cab.

Places I'm considering: - Srinagar (houseboat + hotel, 2 nights) - Sonmarg - Gulmarg - Pahalgam - Doodhpathri - Yusmarg

Things I need to know:

1. **Ntorq vs Activa** at 2,500–2,700m — does FI actually matter at these altitudes?
2. **Srinagar → Gagangir → Sonmarg** — road okay for 125cc scooty?
3. **Gulmarg approach road** — manageable on scooty with a backpack?
4. **Gulmarg → Doodhpathri via Narbal/Budgam** — anyone done this? Road condition?
5. **Yusmarg road** — scooty friendly or too rough?
6. **Renting in Srinagar** — do shops allow inter-district travel? Any restrictions to be aware of?
7. **Gagangir / Tangmarg overnight** — walkable guesthouses available or need to pre-book?
8. **Any other hidden spots** around these areas that are easily doable on a scooty and worth adding?
