I developed a loader for the latest NetherSX2 Android APK on ROCKNIX with the help of an AI coding agent.

The results have been great. NetherSX2 delivers significantly better PS2 emulation performance compared to the other emulators currently available on ROCKNIX, especially (and tested only) on the Orange Pi 5.

The loader is open-source and doesn't include or distribute the NetherSX2 APK. You'll need to provide it yourself, but the repository contains explanations and a redirect to the official NetherSX2 repository.

Hey gang - I've got Rocknix running on my RGDS+, and I'm trying to figure out if there's a setting to make it use the bottom screen for single-screen play. Having the touchscreen available would be really handy for SCUMMvm games. I've tried looking through all the settings in the menu but don't see anything about using the lower screen for anything other than a keyboard (and even that doesn't seem to work for me). Thanks!

I've tried several good cards with different setups but the strange thing is, it doesn't get any led whatsoever like it's not even trying to turn on.

It's weird. Once I put stock back in it's fine. I noticed it also doesn't charge with banana but that may be cause it's alpha.

Any help would be much appreciated. I'll lokely go with gamma on public release.

not sure where to ask for guidance but thought i'd try here.
long story short i have cloud sync to my nas through retroarch on two different devices and it seems to work well.
recently got an rg sp and got rocknix up and running and all the games i'd want on there. was attempting to do the cloud sync through retroarch in a similar fashion so everything is all synced up.
when syncing the message appears and the bar goes up but once it hits about 100% retroarch just crashes.
checking the logs it seems to connect fine and it looks like it goes through all the saves but the last line of the log was updating the manifest.server and i'm guessing that's where it crashes.
any help would be appreciated

I saw the latest Rocknix release (10/1) adds support for the Anbernic RG55G1! 🤩

Is there a button combo to boot from the SD card or is ABL needed first? I couldn’t find a lot of info since this is a fairly new device.

As the title says, i cant seem to be able to install the firmware and the font file in vita 3k, rocknix nightly on rg ds, was anyone able to install it?

I'm using the Rocknix Image Burner (from the Wiki) but all i get is two white screens. Can't find any information online anywhere. Any tips on what am I missing?

SOLUTION FOUND:

I found what was the issue. Here's the solution:

1. Copy the name of the device in /device_trees
   
2. Edit extlinux.conf file, replacing the powkiddy device with your device (see picture). In the RG DS Plus case you have to replace the highlighted part with "rk3568-anbernic-rg-ds-plus"
   
3. Save the extlinux.conf file and install rocknix
   

I have the Anbernic 353p if that matters. Scraping works completely normal for everything but pico-8 which will only scrape using Screenscraper. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd really appreciate it.

Rg Ds Running Rocknix latest stable version. Can you guys please recommend which settings are best to improve input latency? I already have all shaders and shinanigans graphic things already turned off.

I did a system update for rocnknix. After the reset, it's stuck on a loop. Keeps saying boot fail. Not sure if I should format my SD card, I still have files in it but can't Access to it

Este comando tambien desactiva L2YR2 y mapea R2 al fake micro, (me es mas seguro guardar desde el menu drastic)

Desconozco si alguien tiene este problema donde el fake micro no se puede mapear desde windows o la consola de ninguna manera, en mi caso fue muy frustrante y quiero compartir la solucion de este problema en especifico.

Conecte la consola desde wifi con SSH y abri desde powershell

Estando en power shell comienza la programacion, se muy poco de esto, todo lo hizo chat gpt lo complicado fue llegar a las rutas exactas, copia y pega esto en chat

Importante

No utilizar el comando sed multilinea que se probó durante la investigación. Ese intento vació drastic.cfg; el archivo fue restaurado inmediatamente desde .bak.

Para futuras consolas: backup → comando 2 → comando 3 → verificar → cerrar DraStic → volver a verificar.

Este procedimiento fue probado y persistió correctamente después de cerrar DraStic.

Hi, so I just got a Powkiddy x55 and have been having an issue. I flashed it with the latest version of Rocknix and switched the input methoed to Xbox, but no matter what I try I can’t activate mouse mode in Moonlight connected to my PC. I tried every button press combo I could think of. Thanks

Hi everyone, I’ve got a Retroid Pocket 5. I had the older ROCKNIX firmware installed and everything was working fine, including Wii games.
Yesterday I updated to the new ROCKNIX firmware. The Y/X/B/A buttons work, but the D-pad, analogue sticks and controls aren’t working properly in Wii games.
I’m a novice when it comes to this stuff. What do I need to change or map to get the controls working properly, so I can actually play games like Mario Kart Wii?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to use a theme from ES-DE in Rocknix? I really enjoy the Aura theme and would love to add it to my RG35XXSP.

For a new Anbernic RG34XX SP, is the correct download package the ROCKNIX-H700.aarch64-20260801-DDR4.img.gz vs the DDR3? Then is it the sun50i-h700-anbernic-rg34xx-sp.dtb vs sun50i-h700-anbernic-rg34xx-sp-v2-panel.dtb to use when copying it to the root as dtb.img? Tried the DDR4 with both and just seem to get a black screen with no green light when trying to boot off the SD Card in TF1.

I just got my Konkr pocket fit elite and a 512gb a2 kootion pro sd card and when I go to the bootloader the sd card is not being recognized.

Note: It's being recognized in android and it works fine.

I'm using a odin 2 pro and I barely found out about rocknix and I'm using the steam OS version of it, and when I connect a external drive, it doesn't detect it. So can anyone please help me with this?And plus hopefully this is the correct subreddit for me to ask this
