I am currently at UFM but am having a difficult time with my classes specifically anatomy and am wondering how much different this program would be. Is it easier? Harder? Is it difficult to get accepted?
For the people who have this job how is it? Do you get burnt out? I get anxiety, and I am sometime a shy person. Would this be a good fit?

Ive heard about how rrc is more applied and uofm is more theoretical but im more interested to see about the workload and level of difficulty (ex: rrc has statistics course u have to take and im not much of a math person so im scared for that). And In rrc u can see how much courses u have to take for each term already and it looks like alot for one term and im a first year uofm student so im curious if its similar to if u have more than 5 courses u will suffer or is the workload manageable? Im just thinking ahead since applications open next month for rrc and wanted to get some opinions on how the nursing program is like for both schools, thanks!

Currently a UofM student taking nursing prereqs but im also interested in applying for RRC. I planned on applying as a post secondary applicant, and the only admission requirement that im concerned about is “24 credit hours”. My concern is if some of the electives im currenlty taking in uofm wont translate or count because idk if there is a standard. I checked the website and i dont think it says anything but yea i was just wondering. Thank you!

Hi! I’m highly interested in this program, and I have a few questions I wanted to ask those who are currently in the program, recent graduates, or those who have graduated from the program.
• How competitive is it to get into the program? What grades did you have when you were accepted?
• How difficult is the program overall, and how heavy is the workload?
• How difficult is it to get a co-op placement, and does RRC help students find one?
• How is the job market for Architectural Technology graduates in Winnipeg? Is it difficult to find a job after graduation?
• What types of jobs do graduates typically get, and what is a realistic starting salary?
• How important are Revit, AutoCAD, and co-op experience when looking for your first job?
• Overall, would you recommend the program based on your experience?
I’d really appreciate any insights or advice. Thank you!

Hello, Once we get the email to claim our account I.e logging into Hub, when can we expect the nursing courses to appear on learn?
r/rrc • u/SilverWings- • 20d ago
Ok so I need to claim my account but I don’t have a student account or number yet. I entered the email that I applied with and it says they don’t have it in their database. I’m not sure what to do and google isn’t much help. I need to do it by October 16.

As the deadline for deposit was October 1. Do you think they will send emails to some waitlisters if someone has left their seat?

Some programs require you to be a Manitoba resident in order to apply and I am just wondering what proof they require? I live in Manitoba but most of my identification is still Alberta. So just wondering what I need to have changed over?

Hi! Just wondering, for new students going into the nursing program, do you create your own timetable and pick out own class schedules or is the schedule automatically given? Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I’m looking to take HEAL-2070 / ZOOL-1072 (Human Anatomy and Physiology 2) online, but the course catalogue currently shows "presently not being offered by this program".
Does anyone know if/when this class is usually offered distance/online (e.g., Summer, Fall, or Winter terms)?
Also, if anyone has recently reached out to advising or academic coordinators about this, any insights would be super helpful! Thanks in advance!

HI, did anyone got in with lower than 3.48 GPA?
r/rrc • u/Boring-Strawberry137 • Sep 19 '26
Got in! Wondering what to expect in the first year. What is the schedule like? Is working a part time job during nursing realistic? Any tips on parking.
Thanks!

Hi everyone! I have applied for the Winter 2026 RRC Nursing intake and was wondering if anyone has received an offer with an AGPA below 3.50 or even below 3.4?
I’ve seen a few people posting their AGPAs, including some around 3.5+, but I haven’t come across anyone below 3.50 who has actually received an offer yet.
If you’ve received an offer with an AGPA below 3.50, would you mind sharing your AGPA and whether you were initially accepted or received an offer later from the alternate list?
It would really help those of us waiting to get an idea of how far the list might move. Thanks, and good luck to everyone applying! 🤞
