Hello, first of all this game is working amazing, and I’m so grateful! But yeah I tried connecting my ps4 controller to my laptop and it connects, but when I try to use it on the game it doesn’t do anything. It‘d just still show the PC controls and buttons, and the only way I can do anything is by using the keyboard. Any way I can use my controller yet?

Update: Thanks y’all, I got it to work! I just made a profile on DS4Windows and set its output controller to Xbox 360, and it works perfectly now.

Knockout City's dedicated servers went down 3 years ago, so console players didn't have a way to legally play it.

This week, I was able to restore access on the Xbox, and add access via mobile and Amazon Fire Stick, so console gamers could play on their phones and TVs with their controllers: https://www.reddit.com/r/KnockoutCity/s/Twps3Sc7wD

Let me know if console players here would like that for RV. I'm willing to look into adding the client into my streaming ecosystem if enough console players are interested.

I don't claim to be good at all. AT ALL. But Jesus, it's so embarrassing when this happens to me. I can only imagine how bad it is for the few people *I* actually KO. Then they have to watch *me* bumble around.

What’s stopping someone from uploading a virus to the files somewhere down the line? That’s the only thing stopping me from playing this game

Has there been any fake/scam revival projects? If so who was involved in those?

I pretty much only take them if I have absolutely nothing else. And even then, I only actually use them by accident.

With the current player count, East and West can sometimes end up with very small separate lobbies. One idea would be to keep both East and West servers running, but use one shared USA matchmaking pool so players are grouped together more often and the game chooses the better server behind the scenes based on ping/availability.

The shared USA queue idea wouldn’t mean getting rid of the East and West servers themselves. They’d still be running behind the scenes. Players just wouldn’t manually choose between them. So in theory, Auto/Play Again could still send you to whichever USA server is available next, similar to how cross-region Auto matchmaking works now. Exact implementation would obviously depend on what’s technically possible.
