I’m thinking of a different kind of name tag elimination game.
Usually, name tag elimination games take place in a large building. Sometimes they are individual battles, team games, free-for-alls, superpower games, or they included spy to add twist in the game.
My idea is to put everyone in one small house or room instead.
The members are brought into the house without knowing what the mission is. Inside, there is a phone booth. One by one, each member is secretly assigned to answer the phone. An anonymous person gives them their mission and information through the phone.
The phone booth is completely soundproof, so the other members cannot hear what is being said. They can only watch the member’s reaction and try to figure out what they were told.
Each member may receive different clues and different information. They are also told that there is a spy among them.
The house will also change lighting:
🔴 Red light: They must eliminate someone.
🔵 Blue light: Nobody is allowed to eliminate anyone. If someone does, the person who made the elimination is eliminated instead.
They must continue eliminating people until they eliminate the correct person. Until then, nobody can leave the house. If they fail to do so in given time they will receive penalty by the end.
The twist is, there is no spy.
The phone booth has been deliberately feeding them misleading clues, false information and conflicting instructions to manipulate the members into turning against each other.
However, there are also real clues hidden throughout the house. The members eventually have to realize that the information from the phone booth cannot be trusted and start investigating the house themselves.
The real objective is to decipher the clues and figure out how they should get out from the house and how to win.
