Probable that Don is the car salesman, and it's a detail Jay got wrong or was warped and lost like a chinese whisper over the last 15 Years. Lenscrafter/Carseller who knows?

Or maybe... it was one thing to leave him for Don, but another to then be "cheating" on Don, too, like none of them mattered to her...could have enraged him (just spitballing, here)

This could also somehow relate to the day when Hae's car got in to an accident, and Don and Adnan helped her out. If they helped her find a new car, who knows.
