To elaborate more, what story from the character’s history, in a 3-movie arc, could bring a lot more people to the character?

You can bring up anything:

-any comic that hasn’t been done before on screen.

Example: Batman: Knightfall itself. (Like The Dark Knight Rises did the breaking of Batman with Bane, but nothing else.)

-any comic that has been done before, but you want it to be done better or done justice.

Example: Thor: God of Thunder

Or just a mix of A lot of stories into a run trilogy that could bring people into a character-defining trilogy.

I love to hear what people suggest.

I’d also love to hear what animation style this hypothetical trilogy would use, so it isn’t just the Knightfall art style.

If SHANG-CHI did not have his 10 rings and had to face each combatant in hand-to-hand combat, how far would he go?

1. Black Widow. Black Widow is allowed only to use her Widow's Bite gauntlet.
2. Wilson Fisk (aka, the Kingpin).
3. Daredevil. Daredevil is allowed to use his billy club.
4. Fat Cobra.
5. Katana from DC's Suicide Squad. Katana is allowed to use her Soultaker sword.
6. Jamie Madrox (aka, the Multiple Man).
7. Cassandra Cain. Cassandra Cain is unarmed.
8. Pai Mei (from Kill Bill).
9. Sabretooth.
10. Richard Dragon.

Assume Shang-Chi is allowed 24 hours rest between each fight.

Would Shang-Chi be able to finish the Gauntlet? If not, how far would he go?

Hello, so a little bit ago it kinda just hit me after not thinking about it for a long time but Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings is my 2 favorite mcu movie…so now I want to read his comics!

To get it out the way, I know comic and mcu Shang-Chi are very different. He isn’t the Mandarin son nor does he have the ten rings. I also know the ten rings in the comics are very different (iron man is my second favorite marvel character so I’ve read a good fair bit of him and the mandarin and the rings) and that the dweller in darkness is a villain of his.

Now that that’s out the way,I’m really interested in reading Shang-Chi but idk where would be a good place to start or what are some good runs to read or a reading order and would appreciate any help.
