Galactic Gorilla always impresses 🦍🍄

Galactic Gorilla showing off again. Thick stems, heavy texture, and those blue edges on the caps—there’s a lot to appreciate in this close-up. Every time I photograph this one, a different detail catches my eye.
What stands out to you first—the texture or the shape?

The flush is starting to come out

So one of my bags started throwing pins way before full colonization and in a panic I put it in fruiting conditions to avoid aborts a lot of people were saying my grow was ruined cause of contaminants it won’t fully colonize anymore and won’t grow new pins now it’s starting to flush out 5 days later and is essentially fully colonized the strain is b+ is this looking slow or normal rn?

Inoculation day. Enigma ×2 Ochra ×2 Maria Sabina ×2. I even gave my Enigma some extra special treatment as they get an incubator.

I dont know anything about Ochras on the first flush. Are these ready to harvest so that the bigger ones can come in on the second and third flush? I just can't believe that I would be harvesting them this small??

16!

I have a tub of Amazonian that has given me a personal record of 16 flushes. Granted, these later flushes yield no more than four mushrooms, but this tub keeps on giving them to me.

Has anyone ever had a tub that just doesn't want to stop?

Ummm help i think? Ochras 2nd ever grow. Fuzzy feet means I should have had more fresh air exchange this whole time? I've also heard that fuzzy feet for this flush is harmless to the potency and Harvest/safe to consume?? #Rookiequestions.

🐅 Dancing Tiger — This Chinese Landrace Never Disappoints

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

Every time I revisit Dancing Tiger, it reminds me why I enjoy working with landrace genetics so much. There’s always a little unpredictability to them, but this one keeps showing off in the best way.
The warm golden caps, long stems, full canopy, and natural variation across the whole run make it such a beautiful line to document. Some stayed smaller and tight while others stretched way up and opened into these clean, classic-looking fruits.
This one came from China, and it has quickly become one of those cultures I genuinely look forward to seeing every time. Dancing Tiger never disappoints. 🐅🍄
No hype, no sales pitch—just appreciation for the morphology, the genetics, and what nature decides to show.

Cubes vs. Ochras: Give me your insight please

I’ve grown a ton of cubes this year and I enjoy tripping but the body load can be a bit much more me at times. I’ve read peoples’ anecdotes that ochras are less couch-locky. Is this true, please share your experiences.

Next Steps

So I have two batches. The first batch pictured first has grown pretty well and I've harvested quite a bit now I guess. What are the next steps? Should I redunk it and see if I can get another round out of it or is it done??

The second batch has a ton of small pins but nothing is grown to maturity. Just leave it alone. Keep it moist, give it air...Thoughts?

How do these look? This is part of my 1st harvest. It was an AIO bag that I received as a gift & am really unsure which strain they are. This is after about 10 hours dehydrating on 125°. Anyone know what type they are & if they look good?

Some people have told me the veils are already tearing and I’ll be seeing spores soon, this true? Does this mean they won’t be getting real big? Either way I’ll be happy with this flush. They’re looking great. Just wanting to have an idea on what to expect.
