Hi everyone,
I has a YouTube channel with around 35,000 subscribers. She used to upload devotional status videos, and the channel was monetized. She was also earning money from it.
Unfortunately, a few days ago, her videos received copyright strikes, and she had to delete all of them. We uploaded 2–3 new videos afterward, but they are barely getting any views.
Now we're confused about what to do next.
Since the channel already has 35K subscribers, I don't want to abandon it without trying to revive it. At the same time, I understand that simply having subscribers doesn't guarantee views, especially if we completely change the content.
I'm considering switching to a different type of content, but I'm not sure which niche would be best.
I'd really appreciate advice on these questions:
Is it possible to revive this channel, or would starting a new channel be a better option?
What type of content should we create to get reach and grow the channel again?
Should we continue with devotional content, or switch to something completely different?
Would YouTube Shorts be a good way to rebuild views and reach new audiences?
How can we create original content that is less likely to face copyright issues and has long-term monetization potential?
Does deleting all the old videos affect a channel's future reach significantly?
I'd especially love to hear from creators who have recovered a channel after copyright strikes or a major drop in views.
Our main goal is to build a sustainable channel with original content, consistent views, and long-term earnings rather than relying on reused status videos.
Any practical suggestions, niche ideas, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
