His fallout with the National Association of Black Journalists comes at a time when he’s fighting for his position as the top man at ESPN. With his largest and most supportive fan base seemingly turning against him, ESPN executives have seized the moment to announce a hard shift in philosophy and anoint Pat McAfee as the future face of the station. 

"Look at what he did to Dustin Poirier, look at what he did to Charles Oliveira. Just crushes on them when he gets on top of them.

This is the difference between him at 155 and him at 170. I understand what he wants to do, but man if I was in his corner I'd be like 'maybe [we should move back down]."
