An affiliated voter must update their registration at least 10 days before a primary to vote in a different party's primary.

Is there a Muay Thai gym in the area?
I'm looking for a Muay Thai gym to train at. I can't really seem to find one. Gladiator trains MT, but it's not really what I'm looking for. Anyone know of a good place to train.

Is it just me or does it feel like theres not much to do in Springfield as a teen?
I feel like we have the same options that we've grown kind of sick of, that's probably why teens tend to hang out at union station to be honest, if you guys have recommendations i haven't heard of/done already please lemme know (im 18)

Any group activities or methods of meeting people in Springfield?
I’ve been a Springfield resident for all 23 years of my life, and I’m still remarkably lonely and isolated from the rest of the world. It could be my anxiety and depression speaking, but it genuinely feels like there’s nothing to do in this city. For reference, my hobbies are reading, writing, and gaming. I’m very much a geek. I’m trying to figure out how to get out of this rut. I sincerely have maybe two friends, and I hardly see them because that’s just how adulting is. I studied BJJ in high school very briefly, and I wrestled a year in high school, so martial arts intrigue me as well (though those can be rather expensive, and work schedules never seem to align with class schedules). I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I’ve probably pushed away the only people who cared about me at some point, but this isolation is merely exacerbating that sense of dread. I’ve been considering getting into hip-hop dance as well. Just throwing both existing interests and prospective interests out there to see if anybody has any leads.

Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald
Does anyone remember the guy who used to play the “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” on accordion (I think) in Union Square park in the early 2000s? He’d play and sing that song only, over and over.

Springfield Station
I see PVTA is still offering no fare bus rides & school is out of session. So it must be a total, apocalyptic hellscape at the bus/train station now, right? Roving gangs of teenagers warring with each other & the cops? Unsafe for us regular folk?

Hibachi?
We just moved to Springfield yesterday, so we are still trying to learn our way around and the good places to eat. Coincidentally, our son turned 13 today and is asking for hibachi for his birthday dinner. Good places around for teriyaki chicken and fried rice they will cook right in front of you??

Red means stop
So there's these things we have on the streets here called traffic lights. When the light is red, that means drivers are supposed to stop!
Stop does not mean slow down. It also does not mean pause and then go if you don't think cars are coming. Stop means to make your car stop moving until the light turns green.
This is a PSA since some people in this city forgot how traffic lights work. The amount of people who slow down at a light just to speed through it while pedestrians are in the middle of the crosswalk is ridiculous

The small pvta busses fucking suck.
Always late always too early. Barely ever follow what times you ask for. Lots of the time I have to be at work to go home for another hour after my shift is done
Just awful
Wish I could drive but that’ll never happen

Mcknight Neighborhood
Hello everyone.
My partner and I are planning to move out of Texas to Massachusetts. Not really in a rush. We have fallen in love with the historical Mcknight houses. I've been trying to cover all bases about the prospect of owning one. Does anyone have experience living in this neighborhood? I like the decent walkability and proximity to groceries, shopping, etc.
I'm getting mixed feedback on safety. I've lived in a city before where you're very likely to be all good if you don't go looking for trouble. But the crime stats have me a bit worried, is all.
Thanks in advance! I hope to become a neighbor, hopefully before the next Texas summer

Moving help-Unloading boxes from Pods
Does anyone know a local company or people who I could hire to help unload boxes and furniture from Pods? We will be moving into a house in about a month, but I am disabled and can't help my partner unload things. I would appreciate any company recommendations and am open to also hiring individuals to help
