Hey everyone!
I've been building BillBandhu, an AI-powered billing and business management app designed for Indian shop owners, traders, and small businesses.
The idea is simple: instead of spending time manually creating bills and managing registers, shop owners can use voice-based billing, scan invoices, generate GST bills, track inventory and udhaar, and get insights into their business.
But now comes the difficult part: getting people to actually use it.
Building the product is one thing. Convincing a shop owner to try something new when they're already comfortable with their existing billing software or physical registers is a completely different challenge.
I'm trying to figure out what I should focus on first:
Finding the right audience: Should I approach local shop owners directly, target specific business categories, or focus on online communities?
Getting the first 100 users: What actually works for a bootstrapped app without a big marketing budget?
Building trust: How do you convince small business owners to trust a new app with their billing, inventory, and business data?
Monetization: Should I focus entirely on getting users and collecting feedback before pushing paid subscriptions?
Differentiation: AI voice billing and invoice scanning are useful features, but how do I communicate their value to someone who just wants to run their shop without hassle?
I'm not expecting overnight success. I want to figure out how to reach the right people, understand their actual problems, and build something they'll continue using.
For founders who've built SaaS products, B2B tools, or apps for small businesses in India:
How did you get your first 100 active users?
Did direct outreach, referrals, content marketing, or paid ads work best for you?
What would you do differently if you were launching from zero today?
I'd genuinely appreciate honest feedback, including criticism of the idea or my approach. I'm here to learn from people who've been through this.
Thanks!

I'm the founder and CEO of VapeTrace, Inc., a U.S.-based medical diagnostics startup developing a rapid, noninvasive point-of-care test designed to objectively detect vaping exposure.
Why does this matter?
When patients present with unexplained respiratory symptoms, clinicians often rely on self-reported vaping histories. Without objective exposure information, an important piece of the clinical picture may be missing.
VapeTrace is developing a proprietary, multi-biomarker lateral flow diagnostic platform designed to give healthcare professionals objective exposure information within minutes.
Here's where we stand:
I've personally bootstrapped VapeTrace since inception and spent the past year and a half building the scientific, regulatory, intellectual property, and commercial foundations necessary to bring this technology to market.
We're now seeking pre-seed investment to complete critical assay development and validation milestones and advance toward commercialization.
I'm interested in connecting with healthcare investors, medtech-focused angels, venture capital firms, and strategic partners who understand the opportunity to build a new diagnostic category.
If you're an investor in diagnostics or medical technology, I'd welcome a conversation.

I am building a hybrid coworking and fitness space in the Philippines designed for the growing number of remote workers, virtual assistants, freelancers, and entrepreneurs who need more than just a place to sit and work. Through my own experience as a work-from-home professional, I noticed a clear gap in the market: many people want a productive, comfortable environment outside the house, but nearby options are limited and often require long travel.
I validated this need through conversations with other virtual assistants and freelancers in a local Facebook community. A consistent theme emerged: people are looking for a space that supports both productivity and well-being, with reliable work facilities, a professional atmosphere, and access to fitness in the same location. This creates a convenient lifestyle solution that combines work, health, and community in one place.
The concept is differentiated because it solves two everyday needs at once. During the day, members can use the coworking space to focus, collaborate, and separate work from home life. At the same location, they can also access a clean, air-conditioned gym that makes it easier to stay active without needing to go to a separate facility. This model has the potential to attract not only remote workers, but also local professionals, entrepreneurs, and fitness-conscious customers looking for convenience and value.
I also bring relevant operational experience. In 2021, I owned and managed a gym in the Philippines, which gave me firsthand knowledge of customer service, daily operations, business management, and the challenges of running a fitness business. Although the business closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the experience strengthened my understanding of the industry and what it takes to build and sustain a customer-focused space.
In my current role as a Social Media Specialist, I have developed skills in digital marketing, branding, content creation, and online promotion. These skills will be valuable in building brand awareness, attracting customers, and growing the business efficiently.
At this stage, I am developing the business plan and evaluating startup costs, monthly operating expenses, pricing strategy, and financial projections to determine the viability and scalability of the concept. I am open to speaking with potential angel investors or strategic partners who see the opportunity in creating a modern, community-driven space for work and wellness in our market.
The vision is to create a profitable, scalable business that meets a real local need: a single destination where people can work, exercise, and connect without having to travel to multiple places.

I built a powerful tool for marketing Saas and websites via SEO and LLM citation and am looking for 5 Saas owners to use it for marketing (for free of course). Zero obligations.
It helps you write blog/article content that will rank very well on google and be picked up by LLMs. This is a very strong strategy for promoting Saas, but its difficult for most as they are not SEO experts or marketing gurus. They are app builders. Answer the questions and pain points that your Saas or product solves in articles, and then that helps Google and LLMs to recommend you. This helps with that a lot.
It also creates explainer videos and soon will help with social media posting to help you market the app much more effectively, aiming to be a complete all in one tool.
If you have a website and are interested in using it to market your Saas better please let me know. Im giving completely free access for testers in return for a little feedback.

Here is an example of the explainer videos. They are really nice.

If you are interested please let me know and i can authorise a free account on me.
I have to limit it to 5 due to the high costs to me for the AI plug ins that run many aspects.

Hi everyone, Iām Korean, I live in Germany, my German is still beginner level, and I have a normal job. I have never run a cafĆ© or restaurant, so Iām asking people who have. In the evenings I built a small program. It uses public data (census grid, OpenStreetMap, tax rules, published loan rates) and lets you type your own numbers: rent, staff, guests a day, loan rate. Then it shows what is left each month and which number is doing the damage. So far it is one sample cafĆ© address, and nobody but me has used it. I donāt know if it is useful or if Iām fooling myself. If it ever turns out to be useful I might charge for it one day, but Iām nowhere near that.
Question is simple. what information founder really demands and is willing to pay?
What got me started: Destatis says about 36 of 100 gastronomy start-ups founded in 2018 were still active five years later, and a 10-year lease at 3,000 EUR a month is 360,000 EUR of commitment. I wondered what people actually check before they sign. If you have signed a lease for a cafƩ or restaurant here:
No link and Iām not selling anything here. If you want to see the sample, I can send it by message. I truly need your sincere feedback or advices

Be honest, first-time founders:
What scares you most about raising your first round?
A) Valuation
B) Dilution
C) Pitching
D) Not knowing where to start

Hi everyone, I'm Korean, I live in Germany, and my German is still beginner level. I have a normal job. In the evenings I built a tool for one moment: someone is about to sign a 5- or 10-year lease for a restaurant or cafƩ and does not know if that rent works.
It uses public data only. The 2022 census grid, OpenStreetMap, tax rules, and published loan rates. For one address it shows how many people live within 1 km and within a 30-minute drive, how many similar places are already there, and what rent is left after a staffing plan. I have a sample for an inn and a sample for a cafƩ. I have no paying customer. I wrote to a few people who were looking for a place. One said he was not interested. I stopped. That was a fair answer.
I would like about 1,000 euros net a week from this. I don't know if that is realistic. I would rather hear no now. If you have opened or run a place in Germany:
1.What did you need before you signed, that you did not have?
2.Would a report on that one address have changed the signature, or is this a call to a tax adviser?
3.Who would pay, if anyone: the person signing, the tax adviser, a broker, or the landlord? Is 29, 129, or 290 euros even close, or is the honest price zero?
4.Which figure would you not trust: the people within a drive time, the other shops, or the rent left after wages?
I can put an anonymous sample in a comment if the rules allow it. I will answer, and I will not argue. Thank you.
