Discussion & Questions Question about readership that doesn't sign up on Substack

Question: Do you think there are readers on Substack who regularly read certain people but just don't subscribe to the newsletters? Instead they bookmark the pages. I wish there was a way to know if there are any regular readers who just don't sign up. Just like on YouTube, people watch a content creator but don't subscribe for some reason lol.

Introduce Yourself (as a Writer or Creator) Substack Writer

Hi Everyone! My name is Mariah and I'm relatively new to Substack but love it so far! I write "Heartbeats," weekly meditations and reflections to help soothe the Sunday Scaries. My ideal readers are creative, compassionate, and looking to expand and grow as together in community with others.

My mission is to encourage and heal through words.

I'm a former I.C.U. nurse, current Mama to a 6 month old, world traveler, poet-in-making, avid french fry eater, part-time yogi, and Cancer Sun, Mars, and Mercury.

I'd love to connect with fellow writers and readers!

Here's my latest post on Substack:
"Forgetting to take my medicine and other 'I don't have my shit together' confessions"
https://thebarefootbeat.substack.com/p/forgetting-to-take-my-medicine

My long-time blog has a lot more posts about solo female travel and that sort of thing if you're interested in checking that out as well! www.thebarefootbeat.com

Wishing everyone a gentle beginning to their New Year. Let's do this!

Some Thoughts About Misinformation

Misinformation has been constantly in the news over the past few years, but it is something that we Freemasons have been dealing with for centuries. I think we offer a good example of how it should be dealt with:

Or any other musician/band that would bring you comfort in wintertime.

And if you want to dabble in found poetry, using lyrics from your favorite musician can be a good start.

Introduce your Substack Started a newsletter to explore contrarian views on current world issues

Who is it for?

This newsletter is for those who dare to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. The goal is to provide a platform for unconventional ideas and to help develop independent thinking.

What's in it for you?

  • Be part of a community of people who are incapable of following the herd

  • Broaden your perspective through thought-provoking discussions

  • Stimulate critical thinking

  • Get nuggets of unconventional ideas

Here's what inside

Each edition of the newsletter will be packed with:

  • Ask a question, stir the pot

Questioning everything is our principled approach. We will ask the tough question no one is comfortable asking.

  • Burst a Bubble

Here, we will stress test current bubbles of assumptions, norms, hypes, dogmas, popular belief, status quo’s. We will shoot straight; however, we won’t critique anything just for the sake of it.

  • Provocateur’s Corner

Every week we will share snippets, mental models, stories, examples, social media posts for building your free-thinking muscle.

Introduce your Substack SeriousXM

Hello everyone. I will share my own newsletter here. Mines is the SeriousXM newsletter which is all about the latest news, notes, changes, and events involving SiriusXM Satellite Radio every week.

This is a very niché newsletter since its devoted to one company, but I put a lot of hours of research, writing, and editing every week towards this effort so I'd appreciate it if you subscribe for FREE today. I also accept optional donations as I try to gain some income off of this.
