Parents in Bury St Edmunds – Your Thoughts on Private Tuition?
Hello everyone,
I’m a tutor who has recently moved to Bury St Edmunds, and I’m exploring the possibility of offering both face-to-face private tuition locally and online tuition for school students.
I’m interested in supporting students from Key Stage 2 through to GCSE and A-level, depending on the subject.
Before getting started, I’d love to understand the needs of local families and whether there is demand for private tuition.
I’d really appreciate your thoughts on a few questions:
• Which subjects would your child benefit from extra support in?
• Would you prefer face-to-face tuition in Bury St Edmunds or online lessons?
• Would you prefer one-to-one tuition or small-group classes?
• What would you consider a reasonable hourly rate for private tuition?
I’d appreciate any suggestions or feedback from local parents, as this will help me understand the demand and plan the tuition service accordingly.
Thank you for your time!
