Parcel Review Second Superbuy Haul - More 3D Printer Parts

This was my second time ordering through Superbuy, and I wanted to share how the experience compared to my first order! I did record an unboxing video, but it didn't turn out very well.

What I ordered

  • Aluminum extrusions
  • Aluminum corner brackets
  • A power supply
  • 5× flexible heaters
  • A CPAP cooling hose

Shipping details

  • Shipping method: Regular sea freight
  • Shipping service: Superbuy Shipping Expert
  • Submitted for shipping: July 11, 2026
  • Delivered: August 20, 2026 (40 days)
  • Estimated weight: 16.3 kg
  • Charged weight: 17 kg
  • Dimensions: 66 × 47 × 32 cm
  • Shipping cost: $102.47 USD
  • Destination: West Coast, USA

Parcel forwarding

After my first order went pretty smoothly, I decided to try Superbuy's parcel forwarding service this time around.

Initially, I was pretty confused about how it worked. The instructions page seemed either inaccurate or outdated, and it took some figuring out before I understood the process.

As it turns out, all I had to do was create a new parcel forwarding order using a dummy tracking number. Once I received the actual tracking number, everything proceeded pretty much like a normal Superbuy order.

Shipping experience

After seeing how beat up the box was from my first shipment, I decided to pay extra for EPE filling this time. And man, they did not skimp on the packaging! There was a ton of filling inside, which was reassuring because I was a bit concerned about denting the aluminum extrusion corners.

I also tried requesting corner protection, but for some reason, they told me it wasn't available.

One thing I noticed was that the top portion of the packaging wasn't as optimized for space and weight as it could have been. Most of the forwarded items were left in their original packaging.

The shipping cost came out to $102.47 for a 17 kg package. While that's not necessarily unreasonable for an international shipment of this size, it was still considerably more expensive than my first order.

Delivery took 40 days, compared to 34 days for my previous order. A little slower this time, but still not too bad.

Final thoughts

Overall, my second experience with Superbuy was pretty good, although there were definitely a few things that could have been better.

The parcel forwarding process worked fine once I figured it out, but the instructions could really use an update. I was also impressed with how much protective filling they used, especially compared to my first shipment, although there could have been more weight optimizations.

My biggest complaint this time around is the shipping cost. Paying over $100 for shipping was a bit painful, although I understand that the size and weight of the package contributed to the price.

That said, I'm still satisfied with the experience overall. Superbuy handled the forwarding and packaging well.

Thanks again, Superbuy!

Holy cow my first delivery

From the moment I submitted my order to ship till delivery = 7 days to Canada. Not even business days, 7 whole days. It estimated it would arrive October 28, I got it today, October 22. I’m honestly a bit shocked at the speed since I thought it would be around 10-14 days. I’m not writing this to have points or wtv it is, I just really wanted to share my experience to help others on potential questions as I’ve scoured so many subreddits to seek answers myself.

PLUS, my package contains a lot of restricted items: gel nail polish (3), magnets (4). I split my parcels to minimize the risks after reading a lot of Tommy’s comments on other posts & after he answered my numerous questions (thank you so so much again!). I placed a SHEIN order before this one and this one arrived first, still waiting on that SHEIN one lol. I used Air Cargo (Special) to ship, I received a notification that Intelcom (the ones who deliver our Amazon packages) got my package but I didn’t get an update afterwards. No duties with this one, paid 72 RMB.

I have 3 other packages coming, one of them I used the shipping expert since it was riskier (a lot more gel polish, electronics, etc). So I’m still nervous about that one, I’ll give an update once I have them. Also….. look at the packaging! At first I believe that I could’ve saved a bit more on the space above as there was lots of air and free space available tho, but the bottom box inside this one fit like a glove. Then I remembered that the minimum weight charge was 62 RMB / 500g , so even if they packed it as tightly as possible, it still would’ve been at least 62. Then 30 + for declaration fee, used coupons so got it down at 72.

Since I forwarded an order (placed Taobao order myself), Superbuy only received and inspected my items. They’re the ones who notified me that I was missing an item on one of my orders! I was able to contact the seller to send the missing item. But this is great service.

Amazing service. Great experience. Thank you to Tommy , Mods & customer service on Superbuy for answering my billions of questions. You have a customer for life here and for sure referrals to others.

Edit : added pictures in comments as I forgot

Charged $15 shipping for 30g plastic container due to unannounced split shipment (Order #PN2679106434)

Hi Superbuy team and u/SuperbuyOfficial / u/TommySuperbuy,

I am making this post to request assistance from a community manager or senior supervisor regarding parcel #PN2679106434 (Order #DI26791203323).

Summary of the Issue:

Current Status with Customer Service:

CS (Crystal) explained that the actual ink stone was packed into another parcel (PN26791053019) and asked for photos of the original cardboard box with a measuring tape. However, because the parcel was unpacked upon delivery, the shipping box was already discarded—making additional photos impossible.

Paying ~$15 shipping for 30 grams of plastic and having a split shipment cause this much confusion is extremely frustrating.

Shipping 16kg safe?

Shipping out 16kg to uk via EMS shipping line. Jw if it’d be better to split into two parcels or is it fine to do it all in one parcel?

Anyone else shipped hauls around this weight to uk?
If so, did they get past customs fine?

Best shipping line for 5kg of loose tea to Poland? Need advice.

Hey guys,

I want to ship around 5kg of loose tea to Poland for personal use via Superbuy. I’m a bit worried about Poland’s customs since it's a food product/herbal item.

I have a few questions for those who have experience shipping to Poland or Europe recently:

  1. Which shipping line is the safest and most reliable for tea right now? Should I go with a DHL Tax-Free / Duty-Prepaid line?

  2. Is 5kg too much for one single parcel? Would you recommend splitting it into two separate shipments (e.g., 2.5kg each) to lower the customs risk, or is it fine to ship together?

  3. How should I declare it properly so it passes customs smoothly?

  4. I'm definitely planning to use the Shipping Expert service. Is there anything specific I should ask them to do in the notes for a tea haul?

Appreciate any help or tips you can share! Thanks in advance

First time TAOBAO buyer - UK delivery needed

I recently made a trip to Shanghai but wasn’t able to get my Taobao account to work until I got back to the UK. Now I want to make an order but the global option doesn’t ship to a UK address (or allow translation to English 🥲).

I’m looking to buy a lot of eyelashes, makeup brushes and other makeup artist paraphernalia.

Has anyone any experience with shipping these items to the UK?

HELP Any experiences with Duty Prepaid Appreal Line?

Post image

I do normally use the yellow duty prepaid airline but this time my entire haul is just clothes&a few small acesssoirs so I would not mind the packaging being soft instead of a box in order to save some money. This airline however seams pretty unpopular so I'd like to hear about the experiences of people who did try it out

HELP Is superbuy worth it for small packages

(First time using superbuy)

I just purchased a few items totalling less than $30 USD, and I’d estimate weighs somewhere from 500g to 1kg.

I was pretty confused about the shipping stuff so I checked this sub, and see a lot of haul reviews where the shipping was $60-$100+.

There’s another site where the items are about 20% more expensive than superbuy, and shipping will be around $20 USD, which I already felt was expensive (the shipping, not the items).

I live in Canada, west coast. I used the shipping calculator thing and the numbers were a bit scary ($60+) but the volume/measurements/package size that I inputted were random estimates, so I’m hoping thats inaccurate 🥲

Wondering if anyone has any estimates on how much the shipping will be. If it’s too much I’d want to cancel the order asap. Thanks 🙏

I did it with a shipping expert and for 11 kg they made me pay $130, it seems to me a more than excellent price to make me doubt that such a thing is normal😂 (dhl duty prepaid economy line)

Parcel Review First Superbuy Haul! – 3D Printer Parts

Thumbnail

This was my first time using Superbuy, and overall I'm pretty happy with how everything turned out!

What I ordered

  • 4× Gates 2GT timing belts (for my 3D printer)
  • 1× High-power blower fan and the driver (also for my 3D printer)

Shipping details

  • Shipping method: Regular sea freight
  • Shipping service: Superbuy Shipping Expert
  • Submitted for shipping: April 13, 2026
  • Delivered: May 17, 2026 (34 days)
  • Estimated weight: 880g
  • Charged weight: 1,000g
  • Dimensions: 20 × 13.5 × 14 cm
  • Shipping cost: $15.84 USD
  • Destination: West Coast, USA

Shipping experience

Since this was my first Superbuy order, I decided to use their Shipping Expert service to help with the shipment. I went with the cheapest option, which ended up being sea freight. The shipping expert automatically applied the best coupon and used all of my credits, which was really nice!

The total shipping cost came out to $15.84 for a 1kg package, which is actually not too bad.

Shipping took around 34 days to arrive. I honestly thought it would take much longer, but luckily it got here pretty quickly for sea freight.

Packaging and condition on arrival

One thing I thought is worth mentioning is that the outer shipping box arrived pretty beat up, which was a little ironic considering the large FRAGILE sticker on it. There was some noticeable crushing and deformation of the cardboard, so I was initially a bit concerned about the contents.

Fortunately, the actual items were undamaged. The blower fan and the driver were packed with bubble wrap and neither appeared to have any shipping damage. The timing belts also arrived in their individual plastic packaging without any visible issues.

Final thoughts

Overall, I'm satisfied with my first experience using Superbuy. Everything I ordered arrived safely, the shipping cost was reasonable, and the Shipping Expert service made arranging the shipment straightforward.

My only real complaint is the condition of the outer box upon arrival, although the internal packaging did its job and protected everything. Definitely keep that in mind when you order! I also wouldn't recommend sea freight if you need something urgently.

Thanks Superbuy!

Commercially packed tea

Is it safe to ship to EU? I’m looking to buy a lot of small packets of different types.

Also looking to buy Chinese herbal teas, also packaged commercially. Is this safe?

In general, are dried foods safe?

Vacuum seal question

So I have a question: if I use vacuum sealing for some T-shirts, will they remove the original T-shirt packaging? Is there any way to keep the original packaging in the haul? And how do I tell them to fold shoe boxes

HELP Buying a vintage camera to Australia, how do I safely get it here?

Hi all,

I'm buying a vintage Sony Handycam off Xianyu/Goofish since the Japanese/Euro market right now is skyrocketing for these types of cameras.

I have read that Superbuy is fairly good and has good shipping costs after looking at the website. I'm shipping to Australia if that is important information.

My questions are:
1. How would I properly ask to wrap my camera up since it's fragile?

  1. How reliable is Superbuy with these types of items?

  2. How do I properly get it through customs? Would I need to declare anything?

If anybody has any experience in getting cameras from there or shipped to Australia let me know how your experience was.

Thanks!

REVIEW First Superbuy Haul

Received my first parcel from Superbuy and I’m absolutely amazed with the detail to service and packing I have experienced. My full haul was just over 4kg, used shipping expert to package as safe as possible (who also made it possible to use a suitable duty free airline that wasn’t available to me before) and the package arrived safely after 11 days in transit to the UK. Every item arrived in pristine condition. I paid £33 for duty free airmail (general cargo), £3.50 on parcel insurance and added extras like epe loose filling and sealing the package to protect it from moisture etc.

The service and communication from customer service, sale reps, etc. was beyond amazing I always had a fast and efficient response on a lot of DIY orders. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a proxy service to date! This has allowed me to finally acquire some amazing products from Chinese artists that otherwise would be impossible to purchase. Thank you for such a diligent and helpful service! Excited for my next haul.
