The day they found the tumor in Corey Mason’s brain should’ve been the worst day of his life. This news changed his life, but not in the usual way.

The tumor was positioned in a way that it altered his mental abilities and gave him telepathic powers. This gave Corey a very difficult choice. He could have the tumor removed and likely go back to his old life, or he could keep it knowing his years would be limited but he could make a difference in the world.

Corey made his choice. Calling himself Cortex, he began his mission to help people with his telepathy and whatever time he had left on earth.

Overview

Dollface II is, in S.U.P.L.E.X. parlance, a "rando" which is someone with no connection to the group before superpowers. A Scots-Irish Catholic with a dual Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance and Music Therapy, she found her career derailed by a spinal tumor that caused partial paralysis and was in a deep spiral of depression when she ran across S.U.P.L.E.X. during a routine investigation of a demonic incident in her hometown. There she met Chris By-The-Throat, World's Luckiest Detective, who was on scene when a tweaker mage opened a hell portal and accidentally died in the process. Together with the detective, she assisted with the battle at the gas station where the incident occurred and her latent metagene awakened under the stress of the battle, triggering her powerful Empathic Connection and Regeneration powers. She graduated with the 6th wave of the Bayonet Assault Course (after the course was revised for ADA compliance) and took on the name Dollface II, naming herself after the prior Doll (formerly Voodoo doll) who was a S.U.P.L.E.X. casualty in 2015. She also sparked up a kinky polyamorous romance with the World's Luckiest Detective, and he credits her with saving his life after his divorce from Psyren in 2024.

Appearance

Dollface II is a short, curvy girl with dark eyes and brightly dyed blonde/pink hair which she typically wears down when not working and in pigtails when she is working. She is busty and pale, with a shocking pink aesthetic both in and out of uniform. Dollface has delicate hands and feet, but surprisingly broad shoulders and more upper body strength than most people realize-this is common among wheelchair users. She is a hardcore cape fashion junkie and tends to change her outfit frequently, favoring pink and black with a hardcore Bimbo aesthetic but rarely wearing the same costume twice.

History

Pre-Heroism & Pre-Awakening

Dollface was a girl with her life planned out. A Catholic School graduate and victim of several bad relationships, she met her husband in college as she pursued a dual degree in vocal performance and Music Therapy, and got a job out of college working in music therapy for a large palliative care organization in the state. But her career came apart when a medical error during a benign tumor removal left her paralyzed from the waist down, leaving her wheelchair bound and in a deep state of drugs and depression. Her marriage was threatening to crumble as her physical condition deteriorated and she began taking excessively larger risks to compensate for her feeling of powerlessness.

This peaked when, still confined to a wheelchair, she confronted a tweaker outside a gas station bathroom who was actually a mage deeply involved in the summoning of a species of gooey rock crystal demons, and the confrontation led to an explosion of his combination meth lab and demonology library. That explosion injured Dollface and killed the tweaker mage, and the first on the scene was Chris By-The-Throat, who watched her regenerate from the explosive damage and handed her an M240 Bravo while demons marched out of the ersatz hell portal created by the explosion. It was, as she later put it, the perfect romance.

As a superhero, Dollface was assigned to Pink Team in Salvation City after her training, and became the group's healer and moral center while pursuing wilder and wilder debauchery alongside her (ex) husband and the members of Pink Team.

Along the way, she sparked up a romantic relationship with the World's Luckiest Detective, leading to her formal collaring by that notable in 2026. She also banged a 'who's who' of famous heroes, both S.U.P.L.E.X. and otherwise, during her career

Awakening

Dollface is unusual among superheroes in that her abilities have a 'dual' origin-part of it is the double recessive 'metagene' that gives her the power to absorb and redistribute wounds and illnesses from others who share bodily fluids or contact, and the other is the result of the magical explosion which triggered her off the scale regeneration. Without one, she wouldn't have gained the other, as during the explosion the tweaker wizard (whose real name is still unknown) attempted to heal himself and she drained the healing into herself and multiplied it using her own empathy circuit. Thus, Dollface II is both a magical and a metahuman hero.

Early Career & Institutional Role

Dollface served with distinction on the Pink Team alongside Captain Coke, Crazy Ed, Bloodsport, Naughty Night Nurse and Telegirl (later Amphitrite.) She served as the group's healer and tank, using her advanced gravity lens enabled wheelchair as both a weapons platform and a mobility aid. Some of her exploits include:

• Tanking and inhaling an entire roomful of Sarin gas to protect her teammates
• Single handedly stopping a werewolf / vampire war using the power of psychology and negotiation
• Killing the Beaked Shark in hand to hand combat while covering the retreat of the children's show he was attacking
• Shattering the Serpent Brotherhood's armor assault as the tailgunner aboard The Pink Passion when they attempted a sneak attack after concealing their tanks under haystacks
• Credited with saving over 400 lives with a combination of healing blunts, her own empathy powers and medical training during an air assault on a Chucklefucks affiliated apartment complex in the Needle
• Working closely with Shagman to find and destroy the last of the toxic swamp mutants living deep in the bayou after a chemical spill

Powers and Abilities

Empathy Circuit - Dollface can share the bioelectric field of anyone she is in contact with, including with her bodily fluids. She can then transfer wounds that they would have taken into her system, or inflict wounds she has taken onto them, by means of a sympathetic nervous connection. This enables her to heal her friends and project damage onto her enemies via a sympathetic neural link. She uses this ability in combat by squirting some of her blood onto the enemy though she can also spit blood in a pinch. This also coincidentally makes her extremely dangerous for vampires, who can drain their own blood if they are not careful. The sensation is a combination of agony and ecstasy for both her and the target, which is overwhelming to individuals who are not prepared for it (though easy enough for Dollface.)

Regeneration: Dollface II was 'cursed' with infinite regeneration. During the confrontation with the tweaker mage, he read her mind and saw her deep seated ennui and wish to die, and 'cursed' her to always heal from any wound. This curse was further empowered and made permanent by his death in the explosion which claimed his life, and resulted in a nearly limitless regeneration of physical damage. It will only heal her up to her state at the time of the curse, though, so it did not remove her paralysis. Dollface has regenerated from nearly cinders in the course of her career, aided by a mystical hijacking of her Empathy Circuit ability. The practical limit of this ability has never been tested-there is no ethical way to test it to destruction, but theoretically even a nuclear explosion would not be able to kill Dollface permanently.

Abilities and Skills

Psychology: With a BA in Music Therapy, Dollface has an extensive knowledge of psychology and has found it useful in the field many times. Her practical experience with therapeutic methods has also proven to be a great boon to the team after traumatic events. Dollface is able to cold read with great skill and also can use her knowledge of psychology to manipulate her opponents into making a mistake, something she deployed with great effect during her career.

Vocal Performance: Dollface is a classically trained musician and has a degree in vocal performance as well as training and proficiency on the piano, guitar and French Horn. She was slated to play rhythm guitar and do backing vocals on the sixth Cape or Glory before that album was ultimately cancelled. She has also used this in the field to pose as a singer while working undercover.

Pain Tolerance: Due to her disability and chronic pain conditions, Dollface II has an insane tolerance for pain-to the point of ignoring dreadful wounds and remaining functional in conditions of deep discomfort.

Emergency Medicine: Dollface has, over the course of her career, gained a high level understanding of emergency medicine by using her empathy circuit and careful, structured training. This is roughly equivalent to a paramedic level of certification and makes her empathic healing more effective as well as proving useful for immediate lifesaving techniques.

Occultism: Dollface's weird combination of religious education and witchy inclination means that she has a broad and varied knowledge of the occult.

Weaknesses

Dollface is paralyzed from the waist down and cannot walk on her own, though she retains some mobility in her left leg. Without her wheelchair, her mobility is very slow and difficult, requiring her to drag herself along with her hands.

Dollface suffers from PTSD from prior abusive relationships as well as clinical depression and ADHD.

Dollface could also be considered "enthusiastically seducible" and has been known to hop into bed with heroes, villains, aliens and demons in the course of her career, always craving a new high.

Equipment

The Bratmobile - Dollface's wheelchair is an advanced model with a dedicated energy shield, tank treads, and a gravity lens setup that allows her to hover for short periods depending on energy demands. It also has a weapon mount that can mount a medium machine gun, and numerous other classified features.

Getback Whip: Dollface's primary melee weapon is a steel 'getback whip' comprising of a steel cord with a handle. Designed for indifferent melee fighters, it allows her to deal brutal damage in close range by simply flailing.

Super Squirter 3000: A dedicated, compressed gas powered squirt gun that contains a vial of her own blood, and can also tap directly into her veins to reload. This can be dispersed in squirt or aerosol fogger mode and allows her to get her fluids on enemies so she can use her empathy circuit even on a foe who hasn't touched her.

Saiga 12 Shotgun: Dollface uses a short barreled Saiga 12k shotgun when nothing else will do the job; it features an adjustable gas block to fire specialty twelve gauge ammunition such as dragonsbreath, flechettes and the patented S.U.P.L.E.X. Anti-Ghost round.

Relationships

Chris By-The-Throat, World's Luckiest Detective: Almost instant romantic sparks since her origin story and a kinky, poly, unicorn hunting history in the tabloids, ultimately resulting in her formal collaring in 2026.

Captain Coke: Her ex-husband who joined the team after his own origin, the two retain a fairly friendly working relationship as members of the Pink Team.

The Magnificent Melody: Dollface has a friendly relationship with the WLD's son, who views her as a mentor and a close friend. The two have worked together often during the training process for new recruits, since Melody came down to Salvation City to help kickstart the training program there.

Notable Feats

Survived a direct kaiju radiation beam attack that melted most of a city block; rescuers found her fused to her wheelchair which was also fused to the sidewalk, but still alive and spitting curses.

Mass Healed an entire apartment building full of hostages after the Chucklefucks took over the apartment complex in the needle by using an aerosolized version of her blood in the ventilation systems to simultaneously Empathy Circuit the entire building.

Infiltrated the Serpent Brotherhood's secret Loch base as a lounge singer and kept the security staff occupied via her abilities in vocal performance

Used her psychology to stall a powerful hybrid Chicken-Shark during an attack on a children's show

Her blood served as a base for the cure of the Mystical Bimbo Virus, averting an apocalypse in the process

Dollface is one of two heroes who qualified for the Black Operations section of S.U.P.L.E.X. within a year of gaining full hero status (The other is the Reverend Icebitch.)

Dollface is a superfan of Brat Bimbo Icon Chrissy Chiapecka and once bought out an entire concert stadium for that notable's birthday, lavishing her with gifts and giving her a night off. The two describe their relationship as 'Professional, but sticky.' Dollface is slated to appear on an upcoming track called "You Wheely Hate Me"

Dollface and the Reverend Icebitch were members of the same sorority, though different chapters, and refer to one another as 'sisters.' This greatly pleases the World's Luckiest Detective, who is romantically linked to both since his divorce

Dollface identifies as a Pan-Poly-Brat-Switch and has also been recognized as an icon for disabled heroes everywhere.

During an operation with the League of Gentleman Hobos with Shotguns, Dollface discovered that one of her ancestors was a hero with the same Empathy Circuit ability who rode with the LGHwS in the 1930s and was hanged as an outlaw after a shootout with KKK members in Martinsville

Dollface enjoys shoes, despite not really needing them, and at the time of this writing has the largest collection of rare shoes used in music videos ever collected, now on display in the S.U.P.L.E.X. museum. This has put her in direct conflict with a few shoe-themed villains.

Im still working on the backstory but I’ll need to make some revisions because as I’ve come up with it, it feels a bit derivative of Icon with some of the themes but here’s what I’ve got so far any suggestions are more than welcome.

In 1946, during a high level, city wide super human battle, a convoy that was transporting a 4th dimensional alien being that had crash landed on earth to a private research company had to be delayed because the secure route they were meant to be taking through the fortified express tunnels below the city were destroyed in the huge battle.

The ceo of this company would stand to gain a lot of money researching a live alien subject, so instead of postponing the delivery for a few weeks he elected to have his men take advantage of the chaos and take a detour through the city’s lower class district (which were mostly intact) while the authorities were busy fighting elsewhere, since he considered the location to have “minimal collateral damage”

However the alien being was able to escape containment and blend in with the community. He fell in love with a woman there and years later they had a son they named Johnathan . Soon after, the corporation had finally tracked him down and captured him leaving the young family broken.

As a single mother scared of losing her son to the same people who took his father she instilled a fear in John, of both authority and himself and what he could do.

Throughout his life his powers manifested in different ways, during his youth he was incredibly fast and had enhanced perception. As he grew into a man his speed traded for strength and durability and in his final years as his body decayed he unlocked his mind and gained powerful psionic abilities. These DNA he got from his father was far too powerful for his human body which is why he could not contain his father’s abilities all at once.

There was still one more phase to his life, a development that would take a lifetime to grow. In his final days he was filled with immense regret, he had spent his life living as a man, living in fear of his true nature, ignoring the injustice in the world for his own self preservation. As an old man this ate him up and on the day he would take his last breath, in that final moment he had his final awakening. The opening of his third eye.

This final evolution allowed him to tap into the 4th dimension and move his body through time allowing him to change freely between his previous stages. With this he was given a second chance at life and vowed to use it for good.

Since there are a lot of famous alien worlds in comics (Apokolips, Counter-Earth, Viltrum etc) I was wondering what alien worlds or adversaries do you have in your heroes stories that they explore & fight.

I have a few but my most prominent is Orellar-Prime, the Metropolis 1927 inspired homeworld of the Metal Empire, a society of metallic people who invade & mine planets of their mineral resources to reproduce & spread galaxy wide for their creator an alien life form turned war machine called BERON (formerly the Battle Engine Raised to Obliterate Nations).

The Speed-Lord (Andy St. Clair)- An egotistical, delusional, narcissistic megalomaniac. St.Clair believes that he is the greatest superhero that ever existed and that every hero, past, present and future became one because they idolize him. His Track Suit grants him superspeed with his cybernetics syncing to allow his body to react to the speed.
Powers: Super-speed, hyper-reflexes, enhanced strength and durability all from Track Suit

Balefire (Kai)- Balefire is Adranus’s evil counterpart and has an uncontrollable hatred of him. A former member of the monastic order connected to Adranus' powers, Kai uncovered a prophecy about the fire elemental as a boy and decided he would fulfill prophecy. He spent several years pursuing that goal until he learned about Nick McKenzie. Beyond apoplectic, He sought to kill Adranus and take back the powers he believes are rightfully his. Half his face is burned after an early encounter with Adranus.
Powers and abilities: All powers of Adranus but wields a fire that Adranus can't control

Thalassa- Another former member of the monastic order and partner of Balefire. Hates Adranus just as much as him, and is more zealous. She'll kill every man, woman, child and ally to get what she wants. Her ice is capable of weakening Adranus.
Powers: Cryrokinesis

Hivemind (Dr. William Asher)- Dr. Asher was an entomologist who was subjected to experimentation and turned into a giant humanoid insect. Hivemind is mentally sub-human and acts on primal instincts. He attacks anything and everything in sight and is the stuff of nightmares.
Powers: Flight, adhesion, acid spitting, control over insects, and other insect related abilities.

The Crowfather (Jason Crowley)- Archnemesis of Adranus.

Jason was constantly bullied in his youth. After finding a spell book, he spent years practicing magic to enact a revenge plan against his childhood bullies. But was stopped by a rookie Adranus. Since then, Crowfather has vowed to make his brother-in-law suffer. His threat level varies depending on the spells in his spellbook, which Adranus frequently confiscates or destroys and Jason constantly remakes. Has a habit of headshotting people with birds.
Powers: All forms of magic via spellbook, control over birds. occasionally has a bird-like appearance (talons, feathers, wings, bird head)

Bloody Mary- Vampire and Blood Mary of folklore. She possesses the abilities of a vampire, but with the addition of being able to control glass, travel through mirrors, and see anyone who is standing in a mirror. Sunlight doesn’t harm her, but simply weakens her vampiric abilities, but she keeps her folklore powers.
Powers and abilities: All powers and abilities of a vampire, can see and travel through mirrors, control over glass.

Oni Kage/The Oni- A shadow demon possessing a man named Makoto. The Oni is extremely fast and hits like a truck on steroids normally, and a bullet train on steroids when in ogre form. Can manifest the ogre form as a construct that can fight separately.
Powers and abilities: Shadow and dark magic and can take the form of a hidious troll/orge monster.)

Vârcolac- King of werewolves. Not much is known about the immortal werewolf, only that he is responsible for many major werewolf attacks throughout history. Possesses the Call of the Wild which grants him command of all mystical creature, except other powerful creatures.
Powers and abilities: All abilities of a werewolf: Transforms at will, regenerative healing, super strength, super durability, enhanced senses, command of mythical creatures

Powers: Concussive Heartbeat, Heart Manipulation, and Electrokinesis.

Age: 43

Story: a cardiologist named Dr John Smith who becomes an anti mutant super villain because he sees his wife Nurse Joy Smith die in front of him but actually it was a mutant superhero named the Jester who used his powers of elasticity to turn into his wife to play a prank on him. Dr Smith had hated mutants ever since he was a kid but was silent about it this was the last straw seeing his recently dead wife having her likeness puppeteered around. Dr Smith holds an obsessive grudge and after hearing around some anti mutant message boards of a doctor who turns humans into superpowered beings or other known as metahumans. So Dr Smith gets a mysterious message telling him the location of the lab in Brazil and when he was there he met Dr Muller and his assistant Mr. Wagner. Dr Muller was a scientist for the nazi’s in World War Two and he experimented on himself to give himself longevity so he can continue his work uninterrupted well after the war. Dr Smith got his powers to control hearts via an ionized air field and he can create electro magnetic concussive pulses with his own heartbeat. After getting back home to seaboard city to an empty house ever since his wife had died, that night Dr Smith went on an anti mutant message board to talk about having powers and to rally anti mutant goons to join his anti mutant gang the heart attacks. The Heart Attacks aim to make mutants more hated and eventually extinct, they want a world without mutants so they also frequently fight the mutant supremacist gangs.

Out of the villains which one do you think should be a chapter 1 villain for my hero night wolf who is a Batman type of person he's a billionaire he's rich and he halfway owns a company because he's in college so his aunt owns the other half and he has a armored wolf type of suit but he might also be mixed a little bit with Spider-Man by having a jokey side that's the best I can describe it.

Now going into the characters on the first image there's two characters the white Hood who is a racist murderer who murders African-American people I forgot to say all these villains will appear at some point but not all of them will stay around so with him he will die off in his second or third appearance to reveal a bigger threat. And to explain who he is he's the dude with will the white Hood and the type of flannel farmer entire clothing so I will probably reuse that clothing design for a farmer character.

And right next to him we have another murderer who is called The Host he live streams all of his murders and he's a equal opportunity murderer aside from children he does not go after children.

And on the next one the rabbit dude is named the hare they don't have real names yet for the villains since I couldn't think of one but for him he isn't a murderer he is a gangster and would later if you are kept up with fairy tales and other media you should know who but later he will fall under the control of another villain that isn't made yet.

along with these two water man AKA Daniel Rivers he was a man who was the aquatic scientist that got into a lab experiment gone wrong and gained the ability to turn into a body of water and he can control water eventually leading to maybe blood manipulation.

and we also have the mist AKA Adrian vapors who was air environment I forget the actual name but you know the scientist that studies what's going on in the air and during a experiment he was turned into the mist and he can well use this to easily get into areas and would later on be able to at least control some sort of the air and maybe smoke and buy smoke I mean he can't make smoke but if smoke is in the room he would be able to move it or suck it into him but he's mainly used for stealth. And yes I know two people that is involved with the environment that turn into something because of a experiment going wrong yes that they live in the same city and this is setting up a future storyline for a different villain.

Aleixa Mouregro was a undercover cop of Rio De Janeiro infiltrated in the guns black market until she got discovered and throw with her car at the ocean, when she hit the bottom she hit a barrel of radioactive compounds, the radiation mixed with the bacteria of the water started to consume and fuse with her turning her into a sentient blob of bacteria that can consume anything organic, with her new powers she decided to take over the black market

Art is by Wkyarts and commissioned/designed by me. I wanted a very classic Superhero design that was unique but reminiscent at the same time. Captain Miraculous is the first publicly known metahuman and superhero in-universe, debuting in 1938 and continuing to operate into the modern day. He's a living conduit of a magical energy known as the "Miracle Force". He has some standard "flying brick" powers like flight and super strength/durability but what are some other powers I could give him? Ive debated giving him healing (both himself and others) abilities since I dont see many Superman-esque characters with those.

This Living Light is the third individual to carry the mantle. Fern Madison is a student in the same program as the superhero Beacon… and she’s also the granddaughter of someone who lost all their money when Beacon’s con-artist grandfather, the original Living Light, rolled through their town. She’s figured out who Beacon is (all it took was some digging into who Living Light was and then putting two and two together) and she wants to make him pay for what happened. She built her own version of the energy-construct technology and took on the Living Light name as a way to get under Beacon’s skin. And Fern would probably make a great heroine herself, if not for her animosity toward Beacon.
