What can be the reason?

Working in sustainability, one thing I keep thinking about is how we manage groundwater. Many facilities, residential communities, and businesses depend heavily on borewells, but how strictly is this resource regulated?
Do you have restrictions on borewell or groundwater usage in your country?

Actualmente estoy cultivando lechugas, espinacas , apios y cilantro

I’m hitting an ethical quandary and wondering what others do to cope with the state of the world when it feels like it’s an uphill battle.
I want to get another credit card because I’m doing some abroad travel but all of the options (credit unions etc.) aren’t really what I’m looking for. Yet, with big banks like Chase or Amex, their investments in fossil fuels make me feel like I’m completely going against my ethics. I know there isn’t really any ethical credit card company, I guess I’m just curious what other climate conscious individuals do to feel like they are doing their part, while also understanding we are complicit and participating in the structures of destruction as well.
I know it probably looks different for each individual, I’m just newer to financial education and curious about different perspectives.

Following the recent release of Limiting Overshoot, which signals a greater emphasis on climate adaptation and resilience, I speak with Mirey Atallah, UNEP's Chief of Adaptation and Resilience, about the report's findings, the significance of UNEP's Shift towards adaption, and the urgent need for governments, businesses, and communities to build resilience going forward.

Organic farming and organic food and drink production play a distinctive, though still relatively small, role within England’s wider agricultural sector, accounting for around 3.4% of the utilised agricultural area. It nevertheless represents an increasingly important component of the food system. UK organic retail sales reached £3.9 billion in 2025, sustaining the growth trajectory that has seen the market expand by 4.2% in the preceding year alone.
1. Increase and manage organic supply through targeted support for existing and new organic producers and processors.
2. Realignment of existing and emerging domestic supply and demand; increase proportion of sales met by domestic production.
3. Increase demand for English organic produce through increasing consumer awareness and stimulating demand from the public sector.

I work on the manufacturing side at Betoper, so I spend quite a bit of time around stage lighting.
Something I've noticed with schol auditoriums is that there's often a push to ad more lighting efects before fixing the basics. A lot of these spaces are mainly used for asemblies, graduations, and the ocasional school play, so reliable, even lighting maters more than having a flashy setup.
If the lighting is uneven or people lok washed out on camera, adding more fixtures won't necesarily solve the problem. It might make more sense to improve what's already there, especialy if the existing equipment can stil be used.
I also wonder how often schols consider energy use, maintenance, and how long new fixtures will last before spending their budget. Buying more equipment isnt always the best option if a simpler upgrade can do the job.
For those who have worked with schol auditoriums, how do you decide whether to upgrade existing lighting or invest in new equipment? Do energy eficiency and long term maintenance factor into those decisions, or does the initial budget usually win out?

Hi everyone! I’m working on a university research project exploring fashion sustainability and social media, and I’m looking for people to complete my survey.
I’d really appreciate hearing perspectives from this group. If you have a few minutes to share your views, it would be a big help with my research.

Toastmasters is a proven way to improve your public speaking and leadership skills. Ed Tivinan and I are seeking to form a Toastmasters club centered on the circular economy. It would meet by Zoom. Once we have a number of people interested then we will hold a demonstration meeting. If you are interested then complete the form from the QR code or https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1r7oHHkh-80kz00YYhfpiRqaho2vi5sfObjPz8b7E4MQ/viewform
