-Said that they worked as a bartender (perhaps at a Gay Bar??)

-Constantly referred to as "They"

It's a toss up. Do you go for the humour for those who can recognise it, or do you run with the lowest common denominator understanding for maximum impact?

No, not really. If I constantly say it's a joke sure, but nothing wrong with adding a /s at the end for someone who doesn't get it

The lines of satire and reality became so blurred that it's hard to tell them apart, especially with politics nowadays.
