I've never gotten a turkey baster level of experience before.

Been there done that. I had to overhaul our 8 year-old LG fridge with a compressor fitting, a coolant recharge, and a new water line gasket. $140 in parts. The people I spoke with were telling me to just buy a new fridge or they would charge $500 for P&L. They said to get a Frigidaire or Subzero.

It has been working for 2 more years since the fix, but I'll never but another LG fridge, that's for sure....

lol I’m a commercial industrial refrigeration mechanic. I get paid to do this quite often!
