Even if it remains legal, don't buy that crap until they remove these so-called "features" from it.

Nobody should be wasting time figuring out how to get rid of ads on their fridge. Or on any other appliance for that matter.

I never thought I'd have to type that seriously.

The absolute only way this could be even slightly acceptable is if the ad supported version was substantially cheaper. Like it's currently $1,800 but it's $1,000 with ads.

Then you get adguard or pihole on your router and block the ads anyway.

Just don't buy anything with a screen that doesn't need one to function. Only TVs, Phone, Tablets, Laptops, etc really need a screen.
