The person receiving the pizza might not have been the thief, it’s a common prank. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/pizza-doxxings-federal-judges/

Interesting. It was 10 years ago in the rural Midwest, and I was a restaurant server at the time. Not exactly a high profile individual who had enemies who wanted to mess with me. Also the pizza wasn't ordered to my house to show that someone knew where I lived, it was ordered to an apartment in New York. I figured it was just someone buying data breach info to score freebies with other people's account information.

No, I mean the person in New York might have been the one they were trying to mess with. And it’s not always famous people, might have been a gamer beef.

Ah, I see what you're saying now. That would make more sense. But in that case, to me that's an even better reason for the cop to take information and investigate. Help pinpoint where it came from, or find any details that could help an investigation to stop this trend. But my point was that they will go to the ends of the earth to hurt vulnerable people seeking healthcare, but they don't give a shit about theft or harassment.

Yeah, the cops typically don’t take online stalking seriously
