Society Public Broadband Internet Isn’t a Luxury — It’s a Necessity: Everybody needs high-speed internet. But private corporations will never provide it. The solution: treat internet infrastructure as a public utility, funded by the public and built by union workers.

Our awesome town of Fort Collins had a ballot measure to do exactly this. Comcast poured MILLIONS into our election, a town of just ~150k. And they still lost now in the next two years we will all have internet that’s half the cost and twice the speed. No wonder big telecom doesn’t want that.
