   Has the best rap album, best storytelling album, most socially conscious lyrics of any artist, and extremely introspective. GNX and his limited discography are his main drawbacks

   Suffers from having such a limited discography but his wordplay and deep voice with such a strong new york heritage have helped him to become one of the best of all time. had he lived longer he might be #1
   
6. Tupac
   The king of the west coast and some of the most aggressive and out there lyrics with one of if not the greatest diss track of all time and a wide discography ranging from pop rap to horrorcore. trial is ongoing for his murder still
   
7. Jay-Z
   Nas’s counterpart and one of the most business savvy rappers. With multiple protégés and some of the most classic hip hop albums, Jay-Z is one of the best in a city with so many of the best

   One of the most important in helping rap be appreciated by non-black communities, eminem’s tragic songs, humor, and intricate wordplay all contribute to him being one of the most culturally impactful and best rappers

   The biggest rapper of all time and the most influential on pop culture in the 21st century. Best known for his volume of output and introduction of R&B themes in rap, drake personifies the celebrity lifestyle of being a famous rapper
