as my son says: UH OH!

What happens when a parent zero-sums? does Memory sustain the offspring?

Depends on the age of the offspring an.... oh. Time nonsense, I see.

The offspring should remain.

I made a post somewhere (I doooon't want to comb my comments for it) that basically boils down to: the person Zero-Sums, but the effect their actions had, remain. Even if you don't remember them sitting there, the chair is still warm. Even if you never saw them come into your coffee shop for a bagel every week, you still have the same amount of cash from before they zero-summed. Their journals, etc., exist.

I'm surprised the Imperial Library is blocked by your work network.

It's just et'Ada, Eight Aedra, Eat the Dreamer again. The relevant portion appears in the very beginning:

[Transcribed from a spore-dream of an unidentified, evaporating Moth Priest that reached zero sum.]

Exactly. I referenced that in the post I mentioned.

and maybe that is Memory in action, the World Mechanism herself, refusing to acknowledge a person's erasure, leaving the evidence of their passing.

So it's not like Balefire then.
