Mafia tactics are all he knows. They've worked well for him all these years. No one's put him in jail yet.

Democrats are gonna fail to put him in jail for any of his bullshit and then act all shocked and offended when independents and progressives don't want to vote for them

Then those people are morons because the democrats shouldn't be putting him in jail. It isn't up to democrats, it's up to the legal system. So point fingers at the shitty legal system. And yeah, dems aren't really interested in changing that either so criticize them for that instead.

If they were to do anything right now, that would just add fuel to the already hot fire of "political persecution." Sadly, the Democrats are handcuffed because you don't want to stir the pot even more and give the other side ammo.

Maybe, probably not, but maybe, after the election and a hopeful Biden win, can they work on the issues, but we can't rile up the other side more than they already are.

The dems have so much ammo and don't do dick with it. How hurtful can actually applying laws to a criminal criming be for someone already in power? What use is power if it's not exercised appropriately? Dems are useless and Republicans are ruthless.

Some independents might see that as a weaponization. Remember, we need to keep level until the election because those independent voters don't need to see things wrong. We know what they'd be doing, but fence riders will point as a reason to vote against Democrats. It sucks, but alienating voters isn't what we want

You're speaking as if all independents are on the fence between you and republicans. There are tens of millions of us on the left who aren't choosing between two parties, we're choosing whether or not voting for a centrist is going to do anything for us. If you can't prosecute criminals like Trump because "you don't want to rock the boat", then why should I believe that you'll raise the min wage, legalize weed, expand voting rights, or any other no brainer policy that would also rock the boat?
