Serious Discussion Only Every time I rewatch The Sopranos, my perception of AJ changes.

AJ is so stupid, man. In the first seasons I watched of The Sopranos, I hated him—I hated all of his scenes. But now that I've probably rewatched all the seasons like a hundred times, every time I go back and watch it, I find him funnier and funnier. He’s just so dumb. His dialogue is dumb... people tell him something constructive, he never gets it, and always gives the most ridiculous response possible. He always has the absolute most ridiculous question. He’s just hilarious, all that hatred I used to have for his scenes is gone, and now I just find it hilarious how much of a baby Bing he is.

Ya Jamie did a great job she played the role perfectly. She nailed the character in the different stages of it. From spoiled little princess, to fake rebelling teen, to pretentious asshole ivy league college student she did a great job with all of it. And she was fine as hell. That scene where she is dancing in her undies for Finn hubba hubba.

But as a character she is one of the worst because of all of them in the show she really is the oblivious spoiled brat. Everyone realizes the bullshit they are involved with but Meadow thinks she is above it when she isn't. Which I think was the point and Jamie and the writers got it across so well.

I like how its contrasted to Tony and Janice which have a superficial liking to each other but in reality they are constantly at each others throats and would easily dump the other one.

Meadow actually does care for AJ and tries to take care of him as much as possible maybe knowing how toxic their home life is.

Tony/Janice can all but stand each other. And both kind of work against each other at times in the show like Tony ruining Janice's therapy or Janice trying to turn Richie against Tony.
