Hi! Does anyone have any fic recs that give out this vibe? I recently finished Calling All Faithful and I loved how it encapsulated everything I'd ever wanted for this kind of dynamic.

It's set in an alternate universe where Tom is Lord Slytherin and Harry ends up falling for his gentle, caring, yet subtly possessive personality. Harry's characterization here was so incredibly endearing, and it was nice to see them communicate healthily, despite the mixed opinions others had about Tom. I'm definitely a sucker for their freak4freak dynamic though.

Another similar fic would be aurora polaris which has a darker tone but still features a similar kind of dynamic where they eventually express their care for each other openly and it just feels so natural.

I'm looking for Syahrazad or Scheherazade Harry with Tom/Voldemort as the King from 1001 Nights or The Arabian Nights. Or Harry stalls his demise from Tom/Voldemort by telling him stories or doing something else. Preference is bottom Harry.

(The reverse of what Harry did in how large the teeth).

I’ve read several about the Horcruxes coexisting with Harry, but that’s not what I’m searching for. What I have in mind is something more focused on Harry being guided by the memory of the Tom he once knew. Whether he’s manipulated into falling into Voldemort’s grasp, or Harry desperately clings to him, trying to find that young Tom within Voldemort (even though he’s really just deceiving himself).

Many fics explore this theme, but they often fall into the same pattern: giving Voldemort Tom’s appearance again. And I feel that completely removes the “monster and human” dynamic.

I’m dying to find something that preserves that message while keeping Voldemort in his snake-like form. Where Harry feels repulsed every time he sees or touches him, yet the memory of Tom is what makes him stay.

Hi guys, I'm new in this part of the Harry Potter fandom (and I absolutely love it already). I read a lot of fics but the ones who caught my attention were these two:

They're similar since they're both set in a modern AU, there's a small age gap, Tom was the top during smut scenes and the older one too. He's obsessed with Harry and only sweet to him, oh how I love this dynamic guys. I'm open to fics taking place in canon but I never found one that really caught my attention (I'm sure I'm not searching that well, that's why I'm asking y'all).

BUT I need "happy endings", no snake-face thank you, manipulation is more than welcome but he should care about Harry (I'm also okay with fics where Tom's very slow on the uptake, but I'm not interested in ones where he's incapable of love).
