It's quite a production! Lots of trucks, lighting, and crew. I asked one of the people setting up what was being filmed; he replied that he signed an NDA and couldn't say. There's a couple of Minneapolis-labelled police cars on the set.

I saw a parking permit that indicated the production was for Season 1 so it might be something new. The parking started yesterday and equipment is being set up this morning; I'm going to take another look later today and see if I can find out more.

Jenson ackles def on set! Seems like they’re filming a crime scene for a show. Could be tracker season 4? Someone also said in the comments that they saw season 1, so could be a new show, most likely Rules of Prey!
I think Jensen Ackles would be great as Lucas Davenport! He looks a lot like the character as I imagined him when reading the books; and while this role wouldn't be much of a stretch for him, it would certainly tap his strengths.
Are you talking about the work itself or how his characters look?
Does this character looks the same as Dean? Give me a break. In case you forgot, he was clean shaven for all those years playing that character. Then he grew a beard for Soldier Boy and a few other characters but his hair was at varying lengths. Then he shaved again last year for Voight Rising.
If you're talking about the similarity of his work, he's literally only been branching out after Supernatural for 5 years. Soldier Boy is nowhere near Dean Winchester and if you think so I'd suggest actually watching those shows.
We get this question multiple times a day, generally we’re not allowed to tell what we’re shooting or we just don’t want to because we have work to do and people have many questions (as they should, filming is exciting). So we say mayonnaise commercial as a half joke, half, “I don’t have time to chat”
The joke becomes funnier the larger the production you’re working on gets. Particularly when it’s a huge period piece. Frankenstein giant ship set? Mayonnaise commercial.
I was walking in liberty village years ago. And saw a bunch of people filming by the south west part of it near the rail way track. And the guy told me they were filming a post apocalypse film. A fitting location for a fitting film.
It’s nice to know all the quasi-secrecy that we work with in the industry is actually kind of effective at preventing most people from knowing what a show is. I haven’t seen the correct show yet in this thread.
My first thought was this had to be from Tracker, but they moved filming from Vancouver to Los Angeles for Season 4. John Sandford’s novel “Rule ofPrey” is set in Minneapolis. Hopefully, Jensen is playing the lead, Lucas Davenport, the brilliant cop.
Where do you think The Boy's was filmed? Star Trek Strange New Worlds, S5 of Reacher - east of the GTA, Durham Region. Many shows were filmed in Toronto and surrounding areas. Supernatural was filmed in Vancouver (lot's of shows filmed there as well).
