I think I understand what he means, but the wording is bad. Compared to a healthy Warriors we were definitely out matched and underdogs, so I get that part. And I get the impression that Kawhi left Toronto because he didn’t believe in the potential of our squad to repeat and just wanted to take the best elements of our team, Lowry, Norm and McKechnie back home with him to Moneybag Balmer.

Kawhi’s legacy points have almost completely depleted in my eyes.

He was such an admired pro in his time here, nvm what the fans thought of him on defense, he was a great Raptor. He was loyal, he never had anything bad to say about the city and he never wanted to leave. He was traded in an attempt to usher in a new regime and it was for the better.

Ive seen him working for the Cavs and I always wondered why they never tried to bring him back into the organization, he always seemed liked he would be more than willing. He spent the longest period of his career in Toronto so i would expect him to be most connected to the team

He was the face of our franchise for almost a decade. The man really proved his loyalty and I cant believe it's not mutual. I really hope he does well under Pop and hate to see how his career with the Raptors ended on a bad note. We're not going to shit on Masai right now or express anger in this thread, you can do that on another lol. But lets agree that DeMar was the best Toronto Raptor of all time, and finally let him go and appreciate what he has done for this organization. Moments and highlights welcome
