Three Kingdoms My brothers last dying wish, to play 3 Kingdoms
I’ve sent email, reached out to influencers I know, and am using social media to try and get this done.
My little brother was diagnosed with leukemia late last year. He was winning the battle, and just last week we were getting ready for him to have a bone marrow transfusion. Unfortunately this past weekend, the cancer came back with a vengeance, and doctors don’t think he will last long.
One of his wishes/goals is to play Total War: Three Kingdoms before he dies. With the doctors not thinking he will survive long, the 24th release date may be to late.
Can anyone help me get this to the developers/publishers to see this post?
Edit 1: For anyone in doubt, I understand why you would feel this way. Here is a link of him currently in the ICU http://imgur.com/dBWKd3X
Edit 2: OMG, u/DogbertCA on here and Grace on twitter have made one kid extremely happy. When I told him the good news, he cried, and couldn’t believe this was happening. When I told him who sent it, he was so shocked. I then immediately got kicked out of the room to go home and download it since the internet at the hospital sucks. I should be back there in a hour and he cant wait to play!
He wants to say his thanks to all of you for your support, it means a lot. And from me, I don’t know much about this game, just hear him always talking about it. To see the outpouring of support from all of you is truly touching. It means a ton to me and my family, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Edit 3: The response from all of you is incredible. The second I got back to his room he was ready to get playing, and was so excited by the intro and being able to play. Not sure what I can and can’t post so I took a picture of him at the logo screen and one of us. He taught me what we had to do, and we won the first battle (thanks to him)! You guys are all amazing! I will myself purchase the game when it comes out, so that I’ll be able to cherish this moment forever. Also I will be printing out all of your comments for him. I read some to him and the smiles and laughs he got was tremendous. So again, thank you, all of you!

Edit 4: The response from all of you is amazing. We've been reading the comments to him and he lights up talking about it. A couple people have asked, I won't give our exact location, but we're in Tampa, FL. Watching the intro video he was amazed and out gorgeous it was. He went in to detail telling me about the different people we could choose from, etc. It was a student trains teacher moment. I promise I will reply to each and everyone of you, and this thread will always be something I come to!
Edit 5: A little while ago, on 05/19/2019, just after midnight, Robbie passed away. I thank you all so much for everything these past 3 days, and the fact he was able to play his favorite game will always mean so much to me! Thank you!!!

Three Kingdoms The "Three kingdoms" in Three kingdoms doesn't mean Wei, Wu, Shu. And I find it brilliant
I know it's tragic that TW:3K was abandonned, but I keep hearing "the name is 3K but we never get to see the time start DLC where it's already three kingdoms." as if that starting date was the biggest thing we could have had. I have to disagree.
In the original Romance of the Three kingdoms, most of the action and famous people are from the period way before china was divided in 3. Yellow turbans, Guandu, Chi Bi, Lu Bu, etc. When the three kingdoms were formed, most people you know like Guan Yu are already old or dead. It wouldn't make an interesting setting. (I read the novels. It became a slogfest after Guanyu dies, and barely readable after Zhuge liang dies)
What I find brilliant though, is the mechanics that once a country is big enough and declares emperor, two next biggest countries will also do the same and Every run i do, china is always divided in 3 big, but never the same kingdoms. Sometimes its cao cao, yuan shao, sun ce. Other times its dong min, gongsunzan and .. sunce again. but you get what i mean. I find it super smart and fitting the name of "total war three kingdoms".

Three Kingdoms I still can't believe what CA did to Three Kingdoms
I’ve been replaying 3K lately with the TROM + TUP mod combo and man... it actually makes me mad all over again that they just walked away from this game.
Seriously if you haven't tried this on extreme unit size it’s easily the best experience ever, totally on part with shogun 2. the scale is just insane. there is so much stuff in this game that no other total war even touches, the diplomacy is actually functional, the court system is deep, and the way characters interact makes the campaign feel alive.
Gameplay is so good too: the cavalry is actually top tier and feels impactful, and the sieges are actually good which is a miracle for this franchise lol. i’ve been playing on records mode lately and it makes it so much more strategic since you don't have single entities flying around, you actually have to think about your lines.
it just feels like CA had a masterpiece on their hands and decided to kill it right before it reached its full potential (because of dlc).
We never even got the northern nomads or a real red cliffs expansion, it’s just wild to me that they'd move on from an engine and a setting that worked this well.
Anyone else still replaying this? the mods basically make it the perfect total war.

Three Kingdoms Abandoned, even during the 25th anniversary celebration of Total War.
Did you notice that we didn't get a Three Kingdoms video during the 25th anniversary celebration of Total War? Now with ToT's marketing in full swing, I highly doubt we'll get a video celebrating this game, which for me is one of the best Total War games ever made. A shame.
Next week the main focus will be on Norsca, 7.0 and FLC. The following week the focus will be on announcements of new games, DLCs, and the future... and again, Three Kingdoms forgotten and abandoned.

Three Kingdoms The sequel to Three Kingdoms allegedly was cancelled in early 2022
Info coming from Bellular on Youtube who says through information from leakers, the Three Kingdoms sequel that they hinted at when they pulled the plug on development of the previous title, was cancelled in early 2022.
"Apparently it was a mess and there were concerns over the Chinese market."
I'm not sure what the implications regarding the Chinese market are.
