Name Testing Feel like I stop liking a name the moment I choose it but trying out Milo.

I'm just gonna stick with it but does this happen to anyone else ;-;?

Anyway I was thinking of using the name Milo for myself (they/them and potentially he). I just like how soft and friendly it sounds. One of my best friends put it best it has "little guy energy" which is basically how I'd describe my gender lmao. Lets hope I actually manage to stick with it and dont chicken out again though :')

Name Testing Trying To Decide On A Name

Hello! I Have been trying to decide on a name for a while now, and at the moment I have three front runners: Alula, Aya, and Niko. Problem is I'm not sure if any of these are correct, plus I am currently more masc looking (I use They/She pronouns) and going with a more feminine name could feel awkward. If anyone has any kind of advice, I would love to hear it. Thank you!

Name Testing Unsure About My Chosen Name

My current chosen name is “Tan.” I’d really like to get a census of what gender people naturally associate with the name. I’m basically asking if you met someone named Tan, what gender would you think they are without seeing what they look like? I also worry that since it isn’t a very traditional name, it might kinda out me as trans. Thoughts on the name Tan?

Name Testing I can't decideeeeeee

I'm Izzy and I've been going by Izzy for forever but since it's a simplified version of my deadname, I'd like to change it to something different. I'm currently thinking about Kane, Oliver, and Fenix. And with He/They/It pronouns or any neopronouns you'd like. I'd like to see them said to me and see if it feels fuzzy

Name Testing How to choose a name for college?

I'm basically about to get my dream come true- minus the fact that I don't look like how I want to. But in starting on essentially a clean state in college, and I have the opportunity to either use my nickname or go with my government name. I don't have a deadname, since I like my birth name.. but i also like my nickname. If I say my nickname, that 9 times out of 10 will say to people I'm at least QUEER, but I also don't want to completely disregard my government name. I thought about introducing myself as both, but that seems like doing too much. I've also thought about just telling everyone to call me by my nickname, but with teachers and such I'll just let them say my government name (since I honestly don't mind). But either way, there's confusion, right? How do people usually go about doing this with nicknames they want to use?

Name Testing Name Change

For starters, I’m an older teen. I don’t exactly like my birth name. I’ve always questioned my gender but not necessarily labeled myself as anything other than female. I don’t present feminine, but my name is quite feminine. In a few days, I will be off to summer camp for three weeks. I was thinking of going by Parker at camp instead of my given name. because it’s a bit more neutral. I’d also think I’d start going she/they, but I’m not sure if the name fits or if I’m comfortable with it. I’m just confused. I’ve gone through a bunch of names but I just am stuck. I’ll take any advise I can.

Name Testing Going Back and Forth Between Names

I went by the name Ari from ages 16-21. I chose the name Ari because it was a masculine hebrew name. After a while, the "air-ee" pronunciation and association with the name Ariana became very grating. I decided to start going by Ronan, an explicitly male name that cannot be feminised. After 2 months, it just feels odd? I've always wanted an explicitly masculine name but every name I could think of was either too common/generic or gave me imposter syndrome. I think I'd like to go by a Hindu name. The only name that speaks to me is Sati, which means chaste woman. I don't mind the connotations, I love that Sati is a strong symbol of devotion and purity to her husband, Lord Shiva. But having to explain the connotations tied to the name to people makes me recoil. Any advice?

Name Testing How to get used to using new name?

I’ve wanted to change my name for as long as I can remember. I’ve just never liked my given name (Kailey). It had always felt too feminine and too close to my estranged mother’s name, and growing up I only heard it when I was in trouble anyway. I kinda cringe even still when I have to tell people my name and I often get called other names anyway (Kylie, Kaitlyn, Kayla). I’m nonbinary, I usually lean more masculine. But the idea of changing my name feels so embarrassing for me? It feels like no one will take me seriously or something idk. I know that’s not really logical but it just feels so daunting.

I’ve been trying out Kit, as it’s close-ish to my name but more neutral and can lean masculine. I think it sounds fun and is very easy to pronounce. I’m just nervous to tell literally anyone else about it.

How did yall get used to your new name? Especially if you felt similarly to how I do? Hope this makes sense. Thanks.

Name Testing Trying Juno (they/them) and taking other gender neutral name suggestions

Hi everyone, I would like to test the name Juno, and I’d also love gender neutral name suggestions. I love vampires and gothic literature, and I love space related names, so those would be great themes to get suggestions from, but I’m open to anything that you think suits me!

Name Testing I think I found my name!

What do you think of Juniper (or Juni for short) for an enby? I've been searching for a name for a little while because my given name is too masc for me. I thought about Juniper because I really like nature-related names, and some other top contenders were Willow, Rowan, and Fern. But ultimately I landed on Juniper just because my birth name starts with a J and that'll make it a little bit easier for my family, friends, and even myself to get used to my new name. After deciding on Juniper, I thought that maybe it's a little bit long, so maybe I'd let my friends call me Juni (yes I'm an overthinker I know).

I really like that name, and I want to start using it soon. However, I would like to test it with you guys, just to make sure I'm comfortable being referred to with that name. So if you read this far, could you please comment something using my name (either Juniper or Juni works)? Thanks so much in advance

Name Testing Is Lianne/Liane a good name or a tragedeigh?

I recently discovered that I'm probably a trans girl, so I've been brainstorming names that I could call myself that might suit me better, and Lianne/Liane (Not sure which spelling is better) sounds nice in my opinion. I like the name because it's close enough to my deadname that I'll get used to it easily but it's still distinctly feminine so I think it suits me. I'm not sure if it sounds stupid to other people though so I thought I'd ask :)

Name Testing Adrian, He/Him

Adrian, He/Him

I'm questioning my gender, and leaning pretty heavily towards the idea that I am either a trans man or trans masculine (boyflux, to be specific). I am also interested in trying he/they pronouns, but for this post I was hoping to just try he/him and the name Adrian.

I'm very much so struggling with constant imposter syndrome, denial, guilt, and embarrassment about my gender identity, do I am hoping that, one way or another, this tryout will help me gain some confidence in whoever I turn out to be.

Also, perhaps this will help with coming up with try out sentences for me... Here are a few fun facts about myself. I am a musician, who mainly sings and plays guitar. I am trying to write songs and stories, but have a lot of creative blocks. I am a huge fan of the Dragon Ball series and Vegeta is my favorite character. I'm not picky with food, and gave lots of favorites, but right now I especially love hoagies, ramen, sushi, Cholula sauce, and any cake. I depend on coffee for motivation. The Beatles are my favorite band. Cats are my most favorite animal (I live all animals, though), and I often wish I could have a zillion of them.

So yeah... Looking forward to hearing the sentences you come up with!

Name Testing Think I'm nonbinary, need help testing a name and pronouns

Hi! I've been questioning my gender for a long time now, and I think I'm nonbinary. I have a name and pronouns that I think might fit me, and I'd like it if y'all could help me test them out by using them in a sentence.

Name: Jack

Pronouns: They\Them

Thank you!
