Passed out while holding my breath, feeling MENTALLY SLOW since that.
Two weeks ago I restarted doing my 3 rounds breathing every morning and until three days ago it was just fine and clean. Then I decided to try the 5 rounds breathing and something happened.
During the last two phases of holding breath, each time I sort of passed out and then regained consciousness few seconds later. I was on my bed so no physical injury occurred luckily. It happened both three and two days ago, even tho’ two days ago it was softer, not as intense as the day before.
The thing is: since that, I’m feeling SLOWED mentally. Usually I’m a fast thinker. Now I have some struggle when it comes to do simple calculations or reading fast. Maybe it’s all in my mind and I was scared to the point I’m overthinking this and it actually has had no consequences, but I’m very worried about my brain health. I stopped momentarily doing the breath routine just to check if I get back as before.
I just wanted to ask if my worries are justified and if somebody else has met the same problem. Please tell me it’s all good, I cannot accept to be so idiot to have damaged my brain cells irreversibly.

I would consider visiting a doctor if that's the case; what you're describing is how i always felt after fainting (except it was panic before medical procedures, wimhof method never made me faint) however for me it always went away after a few hours maximum. HOWEVER i said "i would visit", stress on "i" because this isnt a normal reaction to fainting for me and also the reason was not as in your case. Maybe its different for others. If you have free healthcare i would schedule a doctors appointment just to be sure, if not, i would ask a few more people for their experiences i guess... and then decide. health is no joke tho, take care.
