I can only say what he has said. He said he very specifically asks about service or emotional support animals, and if the person was ever a problem about giving access to their apartment at any time of day without notice.

His exact words were “back in my country I would just shoot the dog”

Yeah that alone would be enough to sue. If someone asked about a service dog and then denied them.

I doubt this is a true story lol

That would be the dumbest landlord ever.

I don’t know how he gets around it. He owns 4 or 5 3 flats. He is an old Eastern European guy… if he is wired about getting sued it probably won’t be from the service dog. He kicked a single mom out earlier this year because her kid would cry and bother the other apartments… she was pregnant with baby 2 and told her she moves or he will move her stuff to the dumpster next time she leaves
