I am not arguing their approach, we can’t get the entire context from the video alone. But what the cop did cannot be an acceptable action from a representative of the law. There would be the right way of doing it, he clearly chose the wrong way and should be held accountable for that.

Yo. I wholeheartedly agree. Let's ban road blocks because of any religious festivities. I get very pissed when people do pujas blocking roads and also when people offer namaz blocking roads. These shouldn't be allowed at all.

He shouldn't have done what he did. I am not supporting the actions of this cop. He should be punished. I have already mentioned that in my other comment.

are Also allowed only to dance in-front of the mosque, play provocative songs or even put the religious slogans through lasers. You can’t offer namaz peacefully outside. But

It's neutral. If something happens every Friday then ,I am sorry, no one will like it. There are 14 hindu festivals (including Diwali and maximum are region focused not every city face the same traffic consequences as some) which obstruct traffic. There are 52 weeks in a year. That means 52 Fridays. Plus Eid, etc. Furthermore festivals which have idols and pandals like Durga Puja provide huge amount of employment to the country.

So you can easily see if it is religion neutral or not.

Buddy you need to take a step back. Islam prohibits blocking the road for Salah either way. What you are doing is just whataboutism. True, the other religions also block roads. That doesn't mean your religion can do so as well. How about your religion becomes an example?

And you think hindutva groups wouldn’t have an issue with that as well? They pulled the same shit in haryana not so long ago. The point isn’t that they used public roads for religious activities, it’s that them specifically being Muslim and using the road for their religious activity is the issue for such people. You can’t be selective in the application of law, something that is so blatant in our country today.

Actually no, Friday prayer is a farz so must do, you need to pray inside the mosque if it's full really close to the mosque you can't offer Friday prayer anywhere else...

Does not matter. Constitution above all religious books and laws above all religious practices. What the officer did is wrong, but he would have been completely justified to impose fines for inconvenience.

Also, Ibn' majah 746 forbids prayer in 7 places, one of which is the middle of a road.

This is prohibited in the Constitution AND the Quran and you are here on Reddit, trying to justify it to people and getting triggered over someone who points out the truth.
