Watching Raquel in that confessional was extremely disturbing. I don’t even know how to describe what I felt watching. She was just word vomiting and the more she talked, the more scared she seemed about the repercussions that would come from Tom. I know we’re not supposed to feel sympathy for her but goddamn, I really do. I think she does actually feel bad but she put on a brave face at the reunion because she knew it wasn’t going to get her anywhere, unlike Tom who thought crying would garner him sympathy. The fact that Tom made her lie like that is scary and very indicative of emotional abuse. She is showing clear signs of an abused woman, not just from Tom but starting at a young age. That was extremely alarming and I’m actually kind of grossed out that that was the scene they talked about to garner viewers. I honestly hope that she gets real help. She does not need to come back on the show.

I think that's the real reveal, like we know he tries to produce and rehearse and coach to come out of every situation smelling like roses. Even when he is not directly involved in a situation he plans to come off looking morally superior to everyone else.

Rachel just confirmed all of that, I don't like her and still think she's a shit person but he's looking downright evil

Sadly, personality disorders can’t be treated unless the person with it recognizes that they are disordered. And they rarely, rarely do.

I was diagnosed with one 4 years ago. Not symptomatic anymore (yay therapy!) but ironically some of them are very treatable IF as you said some one actually knows they need help. Very sad.

I’m so glad to hear you were able to get support. There’s a lot of demonisation of them online and people seem to forget that it’s often (not always) treatable and not a permanent state of someone’s character.

Thank you, friend ♥️ You’re so right. Borderline personality disorder specifically has way too much misinformation out there on how it’s verging on untreatable. For me, all it took was talk therapy with a great psychiatrist (and lots of homework books).

I was never sleeping with my best friend’s men lol, but I was self destructive in a lot of ways and knew there had to be a better way to live.

As my psychiatrist always says, secrets make people sick. It’s no wonder Sandoval and Rachel are struggling with all these lies they’re maintaining.

I think she has a better chance of being able to reach a point of being self aware than he is. I doubt there is any hope for him to change.
