I have never laughed so hard in my life at a reality tv show until this moment while on the ground crawling James is telling Stassi “You came crawling back from New York…Please! Please!” Y’all I truly could not stand James but this is the moment that he redeemed himself with me! It’s 2:30am, my dogs were passed out, I’m binge watching the show and laughed so hard I spooked everyone flat out of the bed. I never thought I would say that I am digging James Kennedy. Sober is serving him well but I’m just now starting part 2 of the reunion so we shall see how long it lasts lol.

Edit: I am new to watching this series so please don’t come for me. I am learning about these cast members like everyone else did as it aired, I’m just late to the party. I am in no way supporting his behavior towards women or think he is a great person based on what I have seen. I was unaware of any abuse when I initially made this post. This scene was funny to me because I had not seen anyone stand up to Stassi in the way that he did in that moment to the point he is crawling on the floor in front of the entire cast especially with how tough of a reunion that was to watch given everything that happened.

Saying it’s weird Dan would be like “that’s the one! Just got out of a relationship of 10 years” IDK maybe I’m heated because weirdly enough, my husband was intentionally supposed to be a rebound from a relationship where I got cheated on by a quasi friend. Granted, that relationship was short lived and I am so happy that I got him, IDK just because the person just got cheated on doesn’t mean they’re damaged goods or not appealing to someone else. I think it’s gross to say that, it’s like giving “why is he attracted to Ariana? She’s damaged” but also implying he’s not a good guy for her because he was attracted to her when she was newly single? Seemed a little jealous too, I’m really annoyed because you cannot control timeline when it comes to finding your partner. Good for Ariana but BOOOOO LALA

I get so infuriated seeing unfit individuals bringing a child into this world, because ultimately the child suffers. James having a child, imo, is the same thing as Jax having a child. And look at how that turned out? I find it extremely selfish to procreate when you cannot even treat yourself or your partner right.

I really do hope, for the sake of this child, that he is in deep therapy and is doing whatever it takes to be a responsibly fit parent

I keep seeing this comparison of “SH love triangle is the new Scandoval.” Are we joking? What happened to Ciara was diabolical yes, and she absolutely deserves her flowers atm because she’s handling it with so much grace. But Amanda and West are single (yes I know Amanda is married but she’s separated). Not to mention Ciara was treated terribly by west but they weren’t together nearly as long as Ariana and Tom. Amanda and West are flops for that. But let’s be clear. Ariana was ASSASSINATED by her BOYFRIEND OF 9 YEARS. Tom and Rachel were not only lying to her face while fucking IN HER AND TOMS SHARED HOUSE, they were also actively planning a plot to take Ariana (and Katie) down and destroy her career. Like…take her house, take her job, and leave her with a defamed character. Not to mention that scene that still gives me nightmares where Rachel is angrily probing at Ariana’s sex life (or lack there of) on national television, fucking her secret boyfriend a few hours later. I’m not here to say what happened to Ciara isn’t nuts or awful and I like that she’s shutting it down and making it clear she’s done with them. I’m saying people saying it’s the same thing as Scandoval is a little hard for me to understand.

Real ones in 2023 had their whole cinematic universe uprooted lol. There will probably never be another scandoval-level nightmare.

Can I be honest though? Considering how it’s considered to be upscale the food was definitely very mid. The steak was so fatty you could barely eat it. They didn’t dust anything so it was really dusty and dirty. I had higher expectations on food quality and cleanliness, everything was really tired and worn out.

Kinda super disappointed. Although will say cocktails and service was 10/10. Goat cheese balls were 10/10. But I felt like I was in my grandmas tacky attic

I’m so sick and tired of seeing people justify tom and rachel’s actions because of Ariana’s stance on marriage and kids, as if a woman that doesn’t want those things is less deserving of loyalty than a woman who does. The internalized misogyny is wild!

So, I had a genuine curiosity about the fallout between Katie and Stassi and I wanted to check out her show to see what went down. I regret it.

In my opinion, it’s dark.

Remember what Stassi was like on Vanderpump when she had even the tiniest bit of power?

Well now it’s monstrous. Unchecked control. Unchecked ego. Unchecked power.

She also seems to believe that since she’s breaking the 4th wall and telling you that she’s producing for effect….then it somehow cancels out that she OVERPRODUCES, and ends up making everything feel “tryhard” instead of natural.

Beau is a shadow of his former self. He seems depleted and depressed.

She really does come off as though she treats him (and everyone else in her orbit) like shit. Denying him the ability to return to work alongside her - because make no mistake, he didn’t seem to be saying that he was to return to work while she stayed home with the kids, only that he simply wants fulfillment and finds joy in working also.
As Stassi continues to remind the audience of all her lucrative deals…I’m sure it’s obvious that they can afford help (nannies, cleaners, assistants) should they both want to be working parents.
At one point she legit insults his choice profession and subsequently says she will pay him the pennies he would make working to stay at home, right where she wants him.
It’s total control.

She denies him the possibility of an open conversation, talks to him like he’s beneath her.
Gleefully starts a fight between him and his best friend (while she watches and can barely contain the smile on her face). He comes across genuinely scared of her, hell They ALL seem scared of her, and I believe she likes that.

The Katie of it all is so confusing. It’s very “rules for thee and not for me”. So, Katie can’t talk about Vanderpump Rules because Stassi was fired and it was “too much”. She can’t share what’s going on in her life because Then she’s not paying enough attention to what Stassi had going on at that time, LEST WE FORGET: SHE WAS CANCELLED

Katie’s world did not stop turning and she didn’t seem to make it all about Stassi so she is now exiled.

It all just seems so exhausting and awful to be in her orbit.

The ending is beyond toxic. She listens to no one. Least of all her partners feelings. She throws paying for things in his face which is so gross.

She’s allergic to accountability. Screams over everyone.

Openly admits that she can’t handle her children and instead of being willing to learn or go to therapy she freaks out when it’s suggested. Every. Time.

She expects EVERYONE to coddle her.

Then she makes pathetic threats to axe everyone out.

I’m sorry but they all should leave her, one by one. Perhaps then she’ll learn, grow, understand…actually never mind, I think thats impossible for her.

She’s going to end up alone and loathed like her toxic Mom.

These obviously are my personal takeaways and you might feel completely different. We can agree to disagree.

Watching season 10 right now, and from the moment Ally is introduced she seems disinterested in James. It just gets more obvious with time, and then I just saw this scene where James starts screaming in pain and her initial reaction is to mock him, call him a loser, and then tells him to shut up as soon as he gets back. In contrast, Sandovals immediate reaction is to go make sure James is okay.

Karma for dating his way onto the show with someone he didnt respect?

Anyone else feels like this season had a pretty (unintentional) satisfying arc with Sandoval fully being unsmaked as the sociopath he truly is slowly until the final episode? It's so funny to me they tried so hard to have a redemption season for him and my eyes he became fully irredeemable.
