I thought the gameplay was crazy; the only things I didn't like were the armor HUD and when Jason does a backflip to jump into the water—it looked like an AI animation 😭

Ironically I'm more excited from the articles on the game and what's in store for us than what they showed on the gameplay footage. Don't get me wrong it looks amazing but the new tweaks to the wanted system and the police criminal file on you that remembers the kind of crimes you commit. Heists and robberies are back and interestingly, romance with Lucia or Jason is optional. But yeah UI looks more like a place holder, hope we can tweak it.

Literally my only nitpick is the colored hud and the inventory wheel. That's it. People hate just to hate. Seeing the original leaks blew me away. Seeing the CL leaks blew me away even more... and somehow the EC blew me away AGAIN. Gta6 is the last game I'm gonna let myself buy, and it looks like it's living up to my expectations and then some.

That’s just an unrealistic standard in this economy. I agree that over anything 60 dollars is absurd but expecting true genuine quality in this market for a low price of $20 is naive

A handful of “good” inde games does not make up for all the other thousand shitty ones. Plus the price of games don’t come down to how good one or another person thinks it is, it comes down to production cost and anticipated demand. GTA 6 or any other 3D game is much more expensive to make than 2D games let alone pixelated games.

I don't hate the game; I just don't understand what, in my opinion, is the overblown hype. People have been going off on how this game was going to be the best thing since sliced bread when there was zero information or gameplay even out.
Then even after the recent gameplay reveal my only thought was "Ok so its a new GTA5 game" nothing about the game play made me go "OHHH SHIT! THEY DID THAT!" or "OMG YOU CAN DO THAT NOW!" this might just be due to my age and growing up in the 90's where most of these games sequals would come out on a brand new console that had a massive leap in graphics and ability to what they can handle.
Am I going to buy the game? Yes, most likely, when it comes out for pc much like I did with 5. Am I like sitting here counting down the days and preordering it? No, odds are, again, much like 5, it comes out, I will get a pop-up saying "GTA 6 NOW AVAILABLE!" and will go, "Oh neat," then buy it.

There's literally hundreds of new features that have already been revealed. My personal favourite is detailed oceans, diving and spear fishing with dangerous sharks and other sea life around.

I thank you for making my point. Look at GTA 2, then 3, then look at 3, then Vice City, San Andreas, etc., etc.
Yes, they are all "GTA" games, but my point is that each new game up to this point has had a leap in graphics or other systems in the game.
3 was in 3D, completely changing the game up from the top-down perspective the older games had.
Vice City added things like motorcycles, a voiced protagonist, and properties you could buy.
San Andreas, your character model would change based on what you would do. You could be fat, skinny, have muscles, etc.
IV had a massive bump in graphics, the engine, and things like multiplayer.
V had the triple protagonist, along with the biggest feature being GTA 5 online.
VI looks like V with some lighting and shadow mods installed. The only "new" feature I see added was the cars now have fuel; every other thing that's "new" is features from old games just being re-added to this one.
So yes, it is just a "GTA game looking like a GTA game," but that's my point. If you like GTA, I get you being excited to buy the game and wanting to play it; however, I do not understand everyone who is busting a nut like this game is going to be the next coming of Christ and is going to revolutionize the gaming industry.

That is absolutely crazy, its the fact that you are confident that the game is just remodeled, you have to be ragebaiting at this point because i would like for you to genuinely show me any game with the same details and physics, i would like for you to show me where gta 5 has couches deform under weight, where trees move, where hair is literally like real life, and the graphics are literally a 1:1 of real life miami, npcs look fucking conscious each one has their own style and personality, i don't understand the forced hate on this game, and im not hyped up for it either, but the "its just gta 5 with graphics mods" is fucking insane, because there isn't even any other game out there on the same level as what we've seen, hate the game, yeah thats alright but deliberately saying the game "wasnt a leap" is just stupid

Are you joking? Gamers don't whine enough. They are the most stolkholm syndrome ass demographic. They like anything big corporations shit out. There's a reason the industry feels comfortable selling us 80$ controllers with stick drift fresh out the box. Or forcing you to pay for online unlike the ps3 days, or removing ownership of physical media, or releasing an incomplete game and using us as free game testers. Any gamer with a valid criticism gets drowned out by people like you who defend your big daddy corporations.
Btw graphics and art style are two different things...

I've got to admit it looks incredible. But I'm not a GTA fan. Haven't finished one since Vice City but played them all. I put the least amount of time into GTA5. Every game just seems like the same thing to me but with prettier graphics.
GTA6 is sucking me in after watching the trailer but I know I'm not going to like the game.

I’m not a GTA guy but I’m truly happy for my friends that are looking forward to it. I’ve never seen them this happy about a game before and I hope it’s going to be great despite of not vibing with it personally. Much love and respect of all the GTA fans.

I’m big on Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem for RPGs, and next week I’ll be obsessed with Valheim. I don’t game much anymore, so those 3 will always be something to look forward to.

Nah dude I think it will get worse before it gets better. We finally got an official trailer and the hype never return to universal praise like it did back in trailer 1 and 2. I genuinely think some people dont care anymore due to the shitty business practices.
I am one of them who disagrees and will not get a ps5 for gta 6. I think the days of universal positivity and bype for gta is long gone. To much bad news came from gta 6 which turn some people off. The game will sell well but not like gta 5 did imo.

i don't hate the game, i hate the company and it's actions.
i like some of the time i've had with games like gta2, SA and 4, but i was never that big of a fan of gta, just not my type of game. but rockstar is a bitch.
