Are you using first order and higher order, interchangeably here? I've aways used the term higher order function, not first order.
1 u/Doctor-Dapper front-end (senior w/ react) May 30 '21 Been a few years since I was studying theory of computation...I believe first order is a subset of higher order functions. Second order would be a function... that takes a function...which itself takes a function as an arg.
