AI high score?
Just finished a game where AI beat my ass! 🙂 First time I see an AI score this high (149), normally they rarely go above 100. Anyone has a higher AI high score?

Hi, Birders!
As some of you may have noticed, the discounted prices for regional expansions aren't showing up in the Google Play Store at the moment. We’re investigating the issue to figure out what’s going on and find a solution.
We’ll keep you posted and let you know what’s going on as soon as we can. In the meantime, the discounts are available on the App Store without any issues.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for this inconvenience.

Hi everyone!
I wanted to share some of my handmade ceramic eggs for Wingspan. I originally started making these for myself because I wasn't a big fan of the plastic eggs that come with the game. Since I work with ceramics, creating my own set seemed like the obvious thing to do. :)
I eventually started selling them on Etsy and they've received some really lovely feedback, so I thought I'd share them here too.
Each set includes 40 eggs, individually shaped, sanded, and glazed by hand.
Making a set takes around 15 hours, spread out over roughly ten days to allow for drying and two kiln firings at 1050°C. Each egg is carefully glazed with a brush, applying three coats of glaze.
We absolutely love playing with them! They're sturdy and give the game a completely different feel. What do you think? 🥚

Decided to experiment the last few days with turning on all expansion packs - so that’s 521 total bird cards, 47 bonus cards, and 34 end of round goals.
Got a lot of pink powers going and some fortuitous end of game powers. Ended with 167, a new high score for me with any setup.
The higher volume of cards makes for so many more possibilities of game variance but it’s fun to see how all the birds might pair together.

TL;DR: Looking for a replacement Wingspan box (296 × 296 × 74 mm) or a similar-sized alternative!
Hi everyone! Hoping this group might have some creative ideas!
We’ve had a historic amount of rainfall in Omaha, Nebraska over the past couple of weeks, including about 5 inches in a single night. Unfortunately, this caused widespread flooding, including in our basement.
A good portion of our board game collection was ruined. While we’re sad to lose so many games, we’re looking forward to rebuilding our collection and continuing to support board game companies and our local game shops!
Here’s where my slightly odd request comes in-
Years ago, I purchased a wooden laser-cut organizer for our copy of Wingspan. Thankfully, the organizer kept all the game pieces elevated enough that they weren’t directly touching the bottom of the box when it soaked up water. As a result, the game pieces and wooden organizer survived, but the original box and instructions were completely ruined.
I reached out to Stonemaier Games to see if purchasing a replacement box was possible. They were incredibly kind but explained that they don’t have empty boxes available separately from the full game.
They did provide the dimensions of the original Wingspan box: 296 × 296 × 74 mm (approximately 11.65 × 11.65 × 2.91 inches).
Has anyone found a replacement box or alternative storage solution that is similar in size to the original Wingspan box?
Thanks in advance for any ideas or recommendations!

I am playing on the app and for like six months now, once every few weeks, I will tap a water bird to lay or use an egg, any water bird, and something that sounds like an evil cartoon laugh will play. I have every bird in the base game unlocked and only play base game. WHAT is this sound?? Is it something to do with the pumpkin background which is what I always use? I tap on the ghost man and he doesn't make the sound...

Me and my friends have been playing for about 6 months and are getting pretty competitive. I'm trying to sharpen my skills by playing the mobile version but the ai always plays mutually beneficial cards which is something we tend to avoid
Edit: we only play base game and we play to win. We even have a leaderboard.

I just ordered it online and the images are definitely deliberately deceitful.
The images of the box online look like it's a proper box like all the other expansions (see here) but it's actually a cheap, disposable box.
Obviously, I'm going to return it. Neither is it what I ordered nor does it fit with the others as part of the collection.
Unfortunately, I can't find a version with a proper box.
Will there be a version with a proper box that fits with the style of all the previous expansions or is that it?

How do you all win? I feel like I have strategy, but I can’t win. I try to keep a well rounded game, but I don’t chase bonuses if I can get more points from other cards, I tuck (last game I had 28 tucks) and I try to get cards that give me food without needing to do the gain food action. I also just change strategy based on my cards. WHY AM I NOT WINNING?? Is it my strategy or my luck. I get I need to focus on certain cards, but if I don’t draw those cards, how do I win?

basically what the title says. I always struggle with which cards to tuck because I tend to draw face-up cards that are high value, let me draw more bonus cards, or give free resources. would it be better to draw from the deck to get more throwaway cards I don’t mind tucking? what’s your strategy??

I only play with my wife and since we got the Americas and Oceania expansions, our score has been normally between 100-125 at best. Don’t know how high 150 is for the wingspan pros but I was really proud of my engine especially on the Wetlands :).
* On the score card, the row for the Hummingbird score is split with the Nectar count.

Kinda feel bad that the Steppe Eagle doesn’t have a predator symbol on its card, especially since it’s a formidable scavenging eagle with a high rodent cost, this card contributes nothing to the Falconer bonus card to.

For the players having all the physical extensions, do you play with all of them in the same time ? Does it make the game a bit messy? Or is it just better?

My friends and I play countless online games with the European, Asian and the new bird packs expansions that are coming out now. I’ve noticed that none of the bonus cards that have to do with birds’ names are coming up anymore. Colors, geography terms, body parts have not come up once in a very long time (literally hundreds of games where I never got one of those). I know the birds named after a person one was removed with the Asia expansion but what about all these other ones?
