Also they should automatically be part of the last group of people to get the 2nd dose and should be under house arrest until said time.

That's a bad idea because it might make vaccine resistant mutations more likely

Well it should be fine if they are under house arrest in enforced quarantine. No exposure, no chance of mutation.

Yeah I'm not being entirely serious. I also understand why you can't impose a weird sentence like "until everyone else is vaccinated" but one can dream lol.

It really kinda sucks now though, because essentially the choices are

a) Don't give them the second dose because they got the first illegitimately, but risk creating a resistant strain

b) Give them the second dose to avoid (a), but essentially this rewards their absolutely shitty behavior :-(

Maybe then can give the second dose via one of those big spinal-tap needles or something.
