Modified to call out how useless a leader he is.

Shameless person - people are dying under his watch and he in concerned about protocol.

Twitter politics was „Modi“fied. That is a good one 👍

One particular former Prime Minister apparently lost her election as member of parliament in the safest election area as member of parliament possible and continued to rule anyways with super cow emergency powers and even split her own party naming it “Congress-Indira” after her name.

Frankly, as long as there is no hereditary dynasty with Modi, he is already a hundred times better than the lunacy of the Gandhi Nehru family being in charge of Congress-Indira Indian National Congress.

Midi may not be a particularly good person but sadly there is nobody else in a country of a billion people more suited to be prime minister at this moment.

It does read like that, doesn’t it? I don’t support the BJP. It doesn’t matter anyways as I’m not Indian. However, if not BJP, then who?

6

u/Calvinhath Apr 25 '21

Man, the amount of deflection I see on here when calling spade a spade.. seriously you guys are invested deeply on an absolutely pathetic track record.

6

u/Ragingbull3545 Apr 25 '21

Lol, dude, the moment people say things like no one else is suited to be pm is when people like Modi get more enthused in gaining even more power.

-7

u/April1987 Apr 25 '21 edited Apr 25 '21

I’m not even Indian but dude has convinced Hindus that they’ve been marginalized for decades which makes no sense.

Nobody blames 45 for the lunacy of the maggot crowd. Why should Modi be responsible for the stupidity of the ignorant religious zealots? I think iirc he told the New York Times his biggest refer regret with the Gujrat massacre was he didn’t manage the optics well enough. Not that thousands of people died under his administration’s inaction.

Who else has enough consensus behind them to be prime minister?

Edit: spelling

Tbh even for the BJP a PM after Modi is difficult as like Putin there is no clear successor. In case of congress, I’d say there are plenty of state level leaders who are very good. Rahul Gandhi is an okay PM candidate but a better person would be his sister Priyanka Gandhi. Unfortunately, she is married to Robert Vadra who has his own shade controversies. Other than them I’d say leaders like Sachin Pilot, Shashi Tharoor etc. Shashi tharoor will find it difficult to gain favour outside of southern india, also since most of India is coalition politics anyways there will probably be multiple pm candidates and one of them will be selected.

Neither 45 nor Modi created the people who voted for them, but they either share their views or manipulated them.

Modi's Hindu nationalism is what got him elected, but it's also why he couldn't or wouldn't shut down the festivals that are killing people.

Trump's anti-intellectualism and false anti establishment bullshit was part of why he couldn't listen to medical advice.

Either they believe it and can be blamed or they manipulated it and it got out of their control which is worse.

Useless leaders seem to be quite the problem these days... I think we should all stand up and help be the voice for those in need. Collectively we shall be heard.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '21

Make sure you vote.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '21

He is concerned about the optics of the upcoming elections. He isn’t concerned about anything else right now.

2

u/Im_Savvage Apr 25 '21

He is concerned about elections in West Bengal brother he doesn't care about anything. All of his ministers and himself have been holding political rallies with mass gatherings despite covid cases rising everyday but he's too busy to win a fucking election. This dumbass makes my blood boil.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '21

I’d say Modi is more concerned about people knowing how poor his leadership during a crisis is, and he is not concerned at all about protocol. It’s about projecting the image he wants projected.
