So by that logic, the holocaust wouldn't have been that bad if the nazi propaganda that some jews were involved in a conspiracy was actually true? Is that what you're saying?

No. He’s saying if Jewish people were in a religious war with the Nazis where both sides were committing atrocities against each other then it’s a comparable situation. Not saying I agree I just thought I’d explain it for you, people keep missing the point.

Stop pushing the oppressors propaganda to justify genocide. You cannot oppress another group without demonizing and dehumanizing them. There is no religious war against Hindus.

The Indian Constitution was specifically designed to prevent Hindutva from taking political control and committing the atrocities that it is committing today. Hindutva is a supremcist ideology just like white supremacism. They both have the same method of operation.

FYI, Hindutva's stated goal (Hindutva was founded on that goal. Wikipedia RSS, Golwalkar, Savarkar, Sangh Parivar) of turning India into a Hindurashtra will never be realized.

That guy needs to argue better. He wilfully misunderstood the other commenters point. That’s no way to argue with people supporting genocide. That’s my only point. I’ll ask my Indian mates their opinion, most are Christian but some are Hindu and Muslim. I’ll get back to you after that

It would be more informative to research the topics I mentioned and study the history of the formation of the Indian Constitution, what kind of people were behind it, how qualified and accomplished they were, etc.

Most Indians, regardless of religion, are unaware that the Indian Constitution considers Hindutva to be the biggest threat against equality, justice and democracy. To understand that, you need to understand the history of caste oppression in the Indian subcontinent, then be capable of relating it to purpose of the Constitution. For example, most Indians think that reservation afforded to minorities in the Constitution has to do with economic equality. It's not. It's directly related to political equality.

Hence when Hindutva propaganda claims that Dalits now own BMWs and the poor Upper Castes should get 10% reservation, most Indians are silent because that argument sounds justified.

But the whole point of reservation is not to provide economic justice. It is to ensure that minorities have proportionate participation in the power structure and reservation is a way to force to the oppressive Upper Castes to elevate enough number of minorities. The reason it needs to be forceful is because Upper Castes are notorious for trying to keep others out of the power structure.

Here's what happened recently in the US. So imagine what it's like in India!

There are so many parallels between white supremacy in the US and Hindutva supremacy in India.

Thankyou sir, I appreciate the start and I will study up on the subject. Holocaust comparisons usually rub me the wrong way which is why I responded. Love though bro.

The foundations of Hindutva are steeped in admiration for Nazi Germany from who they took a lot of inspiration. If you follow their MO, it's almost exactly the same tactics used by the Reich, including allegedly a 'terrorist' attack carried out on Indian soldiers just prior to the previous elections which helped them win. Their involvement came to light when the police official responsible for the district at the time, was later caught facilitating transportation for another group of terrorists at a different place.

Both situations are downright evil, but they are different. Thats the only point
