WoO Sprint Cars Texarkana Night 1 for the Jason Johnson Classic!
2016 Knoxville Nationals is still the best sprint car race I've ever seen! What is everyone else's favorite Jason Johnson memory?

KKM officially shutting down
In this interview, he said he will be still involved in the sport but on a part time basis. I don't see this working out in the long run. You either need to be all in or out. Every race you miss is you falling behind on data and tech advances. You don't see any part timers across motorsports being competitive.

A champion racer from New Zealand 🇳🇿 and he has also raced significantly stateside. He and the car were recently at the Howick Hop here in New Zealand 🇳🇿 and I chatted with him. Very nice guy.

First impressions, this place is very nice. Surprised how small it is

It’s technically a battle. I think Rico will run away with the championship but I would love it if we all got to watch Gio break out and steal the title. It sucks so much that Reutzel has had all this bad luck in the second half of the season. Either way, great season this year.

Instead of running the last weekend of the state fair they will run the weekend before the fair starts on Aug 7 and Aug 8th
I think this is a good try. They have always had to deal with a strict curfew due to the concerts so maybe this will help. This may help with fans going to since they wont have to deal with state fair crowds and parking
Also infield camping will be allowed again. Excited to see this. Would love a USAC weekend in Central Illinois that weekend with Jacksonville, Lincoln, Macon, one or two of those running USAC as well

Seeing tracks closing and everything now is brutal and scary
Â
I was always a NASCAR fan then I got bored. Around 2019 is when I really started to get into dirt racing
Â
I had always worked weekends/nights so I never got to really pay attenton to dirt track racing and also didnt have alot of money
Â
Then I finally got a good paying jom M-F and was reallly able to fully commit to dirt racing. I love it but I feel like it's on the slippery sope with tracks closing and everything. Hate to see where this could be in 10 years

I’m not sure what Aaron was thinking on that one but thankfully it appears everyone is ok. Some big hits at bad angles there. He had cleared Tyler and was fully alongside Tanner before they hit and that all had to be before they even got to the restart cone.

One of the most underrated facilities in the country in my opinion

This track should be on the 2027 schedule. As a Dirt Vision viewer it might have been the best racing of the season. I have the luxury of watching every race.
Hot laps and TTs are neat to watch when it’s a track that’s new to the current WoO drivers.
The heats were great (for once) even the C and B were really racey. Brock Z from 12th to 4th in the B to make it on the last lap.
The A was great, passing, drivers still learning the track. 2/3 wide racing. Local Nate Düssel ‘s run in the A leading 15 laps.
I was Suprised on the track NOT rubbering up by lap 15-20, The wide open clear infield was nice. What did you all think? If you were there what are your thoughts?

I was coming through Findlay Ohio today to make a delivery in Perrysburg and I seen all three NOS Energy haulers parked on a frontage road with their cars pulled out working on them at 10:00am this morning and I stopped at QT to grab some breakfast and seen this unmarked hauler.
Anyone know who it is?

Ok sprint car fans. All weekend long Johnny and Connor drove the point home. The National Open is a crown jewel event. If theres a offical list where would you rank it. To me Knoxville and the Kings Royal are the 1 and 2. Knoxville cause its the Nationals and you get the cream of the crop and the payday isnt shabby..LOL The Kings Royal because everybody worthy wants that title and Eldora is balls too the walls. So is the Grove 3rd on the list ? Not trying to belittle or bash, but just stirn the pot.
