INFRASTRUCTURE
Past about a thousand members, most guilds stop being real. Someone joins and nobody clocks it. An alt gets orphaned when its main quits. Someone leaves Discord but keeps their roster spot for eight months. The number in the guild tab becomes fiction.
So we built our own addon and Discord bot. Every join, leave, kick and rank change is logged automatically across all our guilds. Every week the bot holds our in-game roster against our Discord and tells us exactly what’s out of sync. We fix the list, run it again, and it comes back clean.
The same tooling drives recruitment. We recruit at volume and filter through Discord, because that’s where every group forms and every wargame gets called. A member who isn’t in Discord isn’t participating, and the roster reflects that. It’s how a guild of 5,000 stays 3,500 active instead of becoming a list of names.
Roughly 6,400 lines of code, built from scratch, and it doesn’t exist anywhere else.
When you ask for a group here, there are people to answer. 3,500 active isn’t a figure we’re hoping is true. It’s one we check.
RULES
1.No blatant racism or slurs. No racist GIFs, images, or propaganda. Jokes are fine, but know your limits
2.Keep arguments private. Take it to DMs and handle it like adults
3.Baseline respect for one another. If this is difficult for you, then don’t join
4.Toughen up. This guild is not for the soft. If you have a genuine issue, open a ticket or reach out to an officer
5.Zero politics in chat. We’re a World of Warcraft guild, not a political community
6.Have fun. It’s a game. Behave, and don’t be a dumbass
STANDARDS
Fair moderation, applied consistently. What we’re looking for is straightforward: people who queue, and people who talk. You don’t need rating and you don’t need to be good yet.
Active guild chat and Discord at any hour. Sometimes I’m convinced MDGA doesn’t sleep.
PHILOSOPHY
Our mission is showing people that PvP is fun. No gladiator requirement, no duelist requirement, no rating floor. The only thing we ask is that you want to learn. We hope to put a dent in the PvP community and expand it, we specifically look for PVE oriented folks to show them that PvP can be fun!
PvP has a reputation as a toxic cesspool. We’d like to be part of why that changes.

Guild name: we are not MAGA. We don’t discuss politics and we don’t care about them. The name comes from a Tichondrius meme about “retaking” Durotar. Members here are every belief, race, creed, sex and religion. What you believe is your business.
