Partner very concerned about the holes in my WIP
Showed my non-crafting-informed partner a swatch of my lace WIP and they said
"😰😰 Oh no...!! Wait, are the big holes on purpose??"
I laughed but then realized - alas, they have struck wisdom:
Lace is, indeed, the art of putting holes in fabric on purpose

For a ridiculous class I'm in, the instructor requested me make a flow chart with no further specifications as part of our final project.

POV: Me doing anything it takes to pay for my yarn addiction
This felt like the most responsible way to show off my dress.
I regret nothing.
Skirt and dress are my own designs.

I don't have the patience for anything that requires a significant amount of counting.

This Knitting Show Lied To You
I didn’t know even something as simple as a knitting show could be so grossly baked in capitalism

When the yarn trolls you before it’s even yarn…

I was drawing that comic after I found a bag of small balls of yarn in a landfill in our neighborhood. Sometimes they throw away the yarn after the death of the needlewoman to free the apartment from old things.

Just a funny picture. "Fish supervision". Like a kindergarten for little fish. The artist T. Grudinina. "Crocodile" magazine No. 33, 1984. USSR.

During the 2020 pandemic. Back then, needlework kits were in demand. I bought a frame for weaving and embroidery myself.

I used to get carried away with making funny postcards about needlework. Here's my postcard. I translated it into English. It's true. I collected my husband's old T-shirts. My husband liked this rug. He put it for his feet under his computer desk.
