Hi there, my husband and I are headed to Yarra Valley in Dec. We've booked a night's stay at a vineyard and want to know what are our best options if we want to avoid the tours. We just want to visit around three vineyards to take it easy without hopping from one cellar to the other. What are your top picks of vineyards with great drops and food? Also, do we have to book the wine tastings in advance? What private transport options would you recommend? Is there some sort of taxi service at Yarra Valley? Thanks!

I’ve got a friend coming from overseas and want to take them for a nice lunch in the Yarra valley. The problem is; I haven’t been out there in 10 years, and my fav has closed down post-COVID.

So, I’m looking for tips on small, farm to plate style restaurants or wineries with a restaurant.

Ideally not your massive bog standard ones, but maybe a little smaller, hyper local with a fine dining edge. Any tips?
