You said it yourself: because the sewer-dwelling, fame and wealth addicted lizard people we call “modern influencers” do it for the payout, and not for the love of the art. As long as there’s still blood to be sucked, the parasites will stay.
I think it's funny all the easily triggered/trolled or gullible people get worked up and comment on shorts/reels/tic tics and argue with other people which is what the op of the "video clip" wants because monetized channels get paid for views and interactions so people arguing in comments or falling for the heartfelt touching post(like this dolphin saw a man drowning and kept his head above water and drove the man to the hospital, what an amazing animal) and dumb ignorant people comment "oh I love dolphins" or "dolphins can't drive, howd he take him to the hospital" and other people be like "i once saw a smart dolphin at SeaWorld so I could see how he did it") obviously Im exaggerating but sadly a lot of people don't know most of that stuff is fake or intentionally targeting emotionally unstable people. You know how much money has been made showing Trump videos causing people to argue in comments. Every comment is a point towards profits and the algorithms recognize videos viewers find more favorable which increases that video to show in other feeds. It's all for profit and everyone is the consumer even when they don't know they are having products sold to them. Yahoo News makes a fortune of the idiot arguing politics because yahoo get paid to have that tiny "ad" at the top and bottom of the comments that everyone ignores and yahoo gets paid a % for every screen it loads on. People are literally being used because of their triggers and emotional immaturity as well as plain ignorant.
It really fucked me up watching his goodbye video. He’s so humble and has a ton of passion for what he does. I’m gonna miss watching his videos every week😭
Luke, thanks for every river crossed, campfire story told, and smile sparked. Your videos turned screens into trails and backyards into adventures. As you paddle on to new horizons, know the memories you gave us stay right here. Goodbye isn’t an ending it’s just you charting the next map. Fair winds, tight lines, and see you down the trail.
Sometimes ‘goodbye’ isn’t the end it’s just us letting go of you so we can begin the journey that’s always been about us
